Avoid Drinking Distilled Water

Is this my own mind? Or is is programming, ELF etc..????

I think this is you attempting to sort out what is truth for you and what is not. It's that process of going within and finding out who you are.

I am always asking who I am and why I am here and little by little the most amazing things are revealed to me.

It's good to question everything, Jona. At least that's what I've found.

RO is better than distilled. If you have excessively hard water that would be a good option if you also have a water softener. If you don't have a softener the filters on RO would clog up too fast.

Actually I found this page interesting: http://www.cyber-nook.com/water/distilledwater.htm - although once again there's no 100% proof of either side of the argument. Actually I drink distilled water that has passed through a charcoal filter, I'm not sure if that's been tackled anywhere. The filter is supposed to help the water become less absorbent. To be honest over the years I've not noticed much difference between the different types of water I drank, so now I just go with the purest.

A couple things I couldn't find on that site is distilled water is acidic, and can take nutrients such as calcium away from the body. Ideally you want your bodies PH to lean toward alkaline and not acidic.

There is a link on that page to this one: http://www.cyber-nook.com/water/alkaline.htm

Although again it's interesting but not conclusive. One thing I don't like about that site is that he seems to basically throw out anecdotal evidence as unscientific, and therefore dismisses anything that hasn't been proven & published via scientific study. Having said that, he does give reasons at the end why he doesn't like counting testimonials as evidence.

He seems biased towards distilled water and overlooks a lot of facts. For one I'm not talking about alkaline water machines or ionizers. Also anyone can do a simple test at home with PH strips to see that eating alkaline foods and drinking alkaline water does indeed change the bodies PH. The pH of distilled water is between 5.6 and 7.

Richard Wrote:Distilled water is dead water. What you want is living water. John Ellis invented a living water distiller. You can read about it at this link:

Also Dr. Mercola sells living water filters. You can read about them at this link:

Also you can watch a video he made.
I like Dr. Mercola but when I mentioned him to Stewart he immediately started bashing his products as bad during a consultation. But I should not be surprised Richard based on how he acts toward others in order to make himself look good.

Its something to think about and research more since I have a cheap water distiller which cost about 150 dollars. I know Stewart use to bash people constantly for telling him that distilled water is bad because it lacks minerals LOL.

stew bashes almost everyone. He likes to think he's the only one that knows anything. The way he has his distiller setup is worse than the portable units. He has a large one in his basement piped to his kitchen. Distilled water is caustic and it leaches metals from the pipes into the water.

I have a portable unit made by Megahome. In your your own opinion and research Richard is it bad or good to drink distilled water. During the distillation process does the water leach the insides of the stainless steel boiler chamber and make it thus toxic for the body to consume.

I know after so many times I make Distilled water from the unit it develops a hardened residue at the bottom of the boiling chamber and that you have to use Citric Acid Monohydrate solution to clean the bottom.
