A Raelian says 'Hi'
#11
That's interesting GB. I always think it's just me . To me it feels like a laser cutting into my pineal .

Josh, I want to say that I understand your enthusiasm in wanting to share your perhaps new found? view on things and wanting to share it wth us.

I suggest that you take some time and read the threads on this forum to per chance get an understanding of where we are coming from.

I agree with Mercy Now on both points. You should read about where we come from if you haven't yet. If you have, you should understand that we can "enter" symbols. Some of the symbols can be seen in the HyperspaceCafe logo at the top.

If we said the symbol hurts us, we are not lying about it. You don't want people who are sensitive to vibrations to avoid your posts.

I first read the Raelian literature when I was 15, but I hadn't read it again until last year when it all clicked with me and I decided to become Raelian.

I've been Raelian for around 14 months.

I'm sorry that you don't like the symbol, but please know it's got nothing to do with the Nazi's who stole the swastika from Hindu and Buddhist cultures.

The symbol in my avatar is the most ancient symbol on Earth because it is the symbol that the Elohim use to represent their 'religion'.

The swastika means infinity in time and that everything is cyclic. This represents the atoms that make us up because they're incredibly old and have come together to make us up. But when we die those atoms will be infinite in time because energy is never destroyed - just transformed.

The star of david represents the saying 'that which is above is like that which is below' because the Elohim have proven that our atoms contain galaxies which contain planets which contain people which contain atoms which contain galaxies etc. In the opposite way it works to, our galaxy helps to make up a giant atom that we live in that makes up a giant being.

In all ways everything is infinite. There is no end to the universe. This is what the symbol represents.

I'm sorry, I'm not going to remove it because it represents reality.

It holds a power of its own though - as you have testified!

Absolutely, I've looked into all of your thoughts.

Please know that I'm not trying to convince or push anything. I hope you don't think that I am?

Josh,
We welcome all people without being biased of their belief system, you can not learn without looking at all viewpoints, I don’t feel that you are trying to push anything, and if you were, that is actually doubt of your belief system. The members here are people that have lived incredible lives with amazing experiences; they can not be pushed as they are too advanced for that. I believe you need to be here for you and not for any other reason.

Greetings, Josh

I think perhaps the symbols making up your avatar are quite inoffensive when they are whole - but the breaks inbetween them (in effect, splitting them into parts - thereby shattering - or diverting -  their original intent) merely serve to re-align the vibrations into something that is negatively rather than positively charged...

I am simply curious here, but is your avatar more important to you than the comfort & well-being of your fellow wo/man?

Blessings

Josh,

I don't find symbol itself offensive but my pineal sure does.  I'm not requesting that you remove it as I can move the window over to cover it and read your post.

You might want to do some further research into the six pointed star.

Josh, are the colors black and white integral to maintaining the essence of your avatar?

Hello everyone,

I've taken your points into consideration and I understand now that the symbol itself wasn't the problem, but the colours and the breaking up of the symbol. Thanks for your comments - hopefully my new avatar is a bit more pleasing to the eye! ;)

Astrojewels - thanks for the comments, I can see that you are all wonderful people because I'm active in many forums and by far you are all the most accepting and full of love!

Xan-i - thanks for letting me know about the breaks in the symbol, I see what you mean now! To answer your question, I wanted to keep my avatar up despite people's objections because I thought they had a problem with the actual symbol itself...I didn't know that it was more of an aethestic thing. I think it's important to not cave into pressure when it comes to stating your believes and those symbols that represent those beliefs (I've been asked many times to stop posting my opinion because I'm a Raelian). Hopefully you're all comfortable with the symbol now. :D
