Hi, this is James Harkin creator of AlexCollier.org. Alex sent me the following email today. If you are able to help him please can you anything you can afford will be appreciated...

Folks, I still am without my truck. The repairs were more extensive regarding the electrical issues with the truck. Many components had to be replaced with other used parts to keep costs down. Which I have. However, The total costs of the repairs with labor are $1572.16 ... I am $347.16 short.

I was able to stay a week in a motel for a week and am now in a shelter. I was only able to carry what I could in a backpack. Change of clothes and under garments and toiletries. I am again so embarrassed to ask for this help, however in my current situation I have no choice. If anyone could help, I will repay everyone's kindness as soon as I am able. I am dedicated to this, as I understand how hard we all work at staying alive and keeping our heads above water.

Thank you to all who help me with this nightmare.  Its almost over. I love you all very much.

I hope he gets some help. It's brutal not having money and how wrong is it that he's struggling to survive.

I was surprised to hear Alex is having such a hard time out there. If I had the money I would send it to him. If he was living in Michigan again I would offer him a room to stay in. I pray that he gets the help he needs soon.
