I learned that in astrology every sign belongs to a classical element: Fire, Earth, Water, or Air. In addition, a sign is further described by having one of the quadruplicites: cardinal, fixed, mutable. For instance, someone with a cardinal fire likes to initiate things in a passionate manner. Or someone with a cardinal air, likes to initiate research.
Cardinal describes someone who likes to initiate. Fixed: to hold onto. Mutable: to adapt or finish things.
I also understand that the elements are very important not just in Astrology, but in the laws of attraction and the occult. But I was wondering if there is any occultism associated with the quadruplicites in astrology: cardinal, mutable, and fixed?
There are already various occult modalities and methods dealing with the four elements. I imagine if I can control the "quadruplicites" esoterically that I can also control the manner and form in which magick happens. I am trying to research for magickal techniques and sigils that deal with the quadruplicites, then invent a very POWERFUL form of lower magick. I cannot find any and hope someone can give me a lead. So far my educated guess is this:
Astrology: Occult:
Cardinal= Alpha
Fixed= ?
Mutable= Omega
If I find out what "Fixed" is then I can continue my research. But maybe there are other occult associations in the quadruplicites?
