Is Bacon pork???   Cause I dont like to eat Bacon very often but It does make some cooking special yummy.........  I likes ta cook yummys!

    Fry some good Bacon, keep the Bacon grease, throw away the Bacon or eat it.  Then slice up a sweet potatoe and fry it in the Bacon Grease, pull off and salt it.  Then taste and tell me if that is evil......:lol:

Thanks for the link - I had read about contaminated pet food killing animals but I didn't know that the suspected contaminant was melamine.  I do like the occasional roast pork dinner too (local produce) but now it doesn't seem so appetising!  Going vegetarian is looking better as each food scandal is reported worldwide.

Yes William, bacon is cured pork - thanks for the sweet potato recipe.  A "great" breakfast is fried bacon, eggs & tomatoes with lots of toast (full of calories and cholesterol) - makes a change from high-fibre cereal with fruit and lo-fat milk or yoghurt.
