Beings that live extremely long

There's quite a bit of Al Bielek vids on youtube now, and his work in the Philadelphia Experiment. In a vid I was watching recently, he mentioned how Grays live to about 350 years, and spoke of another being that was 1200 years old. I was thinking that since humans commit suicide all the time, and do not live long (about 100 years if everything goes well), imagine what that these aliens must go through. They must have experienced every atrocity and type of pain, and must be suicidal a lot. Just something interesting to think about

Greys don't have emotions, so I imagine they don't get suicidal thoughts.

I wonder what it's like to have such a long lifespan of potentially hundreds of years or millennia, knowing that many horrible experiences are likely to happen. If it doesn't happen within 1 year, how about the next year, or next 10 years, and so on
