Many theologians agree the date of the end of the world is not known and this is all part of God's plan.
But it has been sensationally claimed that it is possible to work out when the apocalypse will take place – using the Bible.
Theodore Shoebat, author of website Shoebat.com, believes he has found evidence it will take place three and a half years after the invasion of Jerusalem by the Antichrist.

While it is not clear who the Antichrist will be, Theodore says this event is "sooner than you think" with wars and unrest raging in the Middle East.
Michael Parker, who runs the blog End of Time Prophecies, revealed to Daily Star Online that September 23, 2017, is when God's wrath will be declared as predicted in the book of Revelation.

Theodore adds: “So from the time the abomination of desolations (Antichrist) is ‘set up’ in the temple, meaning to be bestowed or to be worshipped, there will be 1290 days.
“In other words, when we see the Antichrist standing in the temple as Jesus warned in Matthew 24, it’s going to be 1290 days until Christ’s return. And if you haven’t done the math yet, 1290 days equals 3.5 years."
This comes as another doomsday predictor said the apocalypse is this month.

He said: “If the Bible is clear on anything, it is that no one knows the specific time of Christ’s return.
“None of these alleged evidences are proof that Christ will return in this generation. So-called biblical numerology, current world affairs, supposed individual prophecies, etc, can’t offer any solid evidence for a specific date of Christ’s return.”
