Bush says he is retiring to Uruguay

Let me get this straight... he buys land in Paraguay and plans to retire in Uruguay?

From tonight's Le Metropole Cafe:

Dear Bill,
Hello from South America! I´ve been traveling through Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile on my vacation. Being in these countries has allowed me to confirm a few rumors that MIDAS has reported in the past.

First, Jeff Dahl from SAMEX reported that the Chinese have purchased Chile´s copper output through 2011. This appears to be a news item generally well known here in Chile. My host here told me the same thing, and noted that America used to be Chile´s greatest trade partner, but this relationship has been changing. The stores here are full of high quality manufactured goods and they are clearly doing significant trade with Asia.

Also, those stories about President Bush and his father purchasing huge properties in Paraguay (summarized here: http://tinyurl.com/txhtl) have apparently been widely reported in South American news. Even stranger, on his recent trip through Uruguay, President Bush announced that he is planning to retire there! He told the media that "being in Uruguay was like being at home." Here´s a link to an English news site that mentions it in a radio report from March 16th: http://www.uruguaydailynews.com/page/3/

[Bag: apparently the South Americans are not fully aware of the chimp's propensity to lie through his teeth... every time he opens his mouth. But who knows? He is going to have to find somewhere where he cannot be extradited.]

South America is also abuzz with concern over the Guarani Aquifer, one of the largest sources of fresh water left in the world. Since the Bushes allegedly purchased land in Paraguay last year directly on top of the aquifer, Argentina has been planning a military strategy to defend their portion from attack (http://tinyurl.com/yvpjdb).
Uruguay is planning to begin mandatory military service to protect their water despite experiencing no foreign aggression in a century ( http://tinyurl.com/23wxal ).

Pretty odd stuff!

I was thinking the same thing. He knows when he’s done with this country that it won’t be worth living in.
