Not long after OJ Simpson was sentenced recently for 9 years due to kidnapping & robbery there was a movie that was shown on TMC (where they show mostly old classic films) titled "Capricorn One". It was released in the 70's and it starred James Brolin (father of actor Josh Brolin), Sam Waterson (Law & Order TV fame), and none other than the infamous OJ. This film was about a hoaxed flight to Mars. At the time there were doubts back then about the real Apollo 11 and whether it was a hoax.
In the film the astronauts realize what has happened as they are to go along with the plan, but decide to make an escape out of the remote military base movie set where they are filming the Mars flight. This movie eerily parallels the Apollo 11 hoaxed moon flight.
