Carl Sagan

Stewart has said Carl Sagan was killed because he became a liability to the Illuminati, but I ask why? Wasn't he sort of helping them by promoting the theory of evolution, skepticism/debunking of UFO's and other anomalous phenomena? Why was he disadvantageous for them?

Someone must have the answer to this, I'm very curious as to why Mr. Sagan was killed for being a "liability".
