I'm currently reading Cathy's second book, "Access Denied." And while she's a writer of compelling stories, I'm not certain how much of them actually happened and how much was inserted into her mind by Mark Phillips. He is suspectd within the mind control survivor community of being an "active asset" of the CIA and of being a perpetrator of deliberate disinformation.

While I believe that Cathy is telling the truth as she knows it, there's no way to ascertain how accurate her memories are. She's very definitely completely under Phillips' spell. If he's truly only her rescuer and not just her most current handler, then there is still the problem that when a mind has been tampered with extensively, it's just not possible for the victim to know that what they recall is accurate.

So far, I've heard of two survivors of similar mind control programs who have been enticed to tell their stories to Mark and also have given him large sums of money, only to later be told that they are NOT Monarch survivors and that their own recovered memories are invalid. This resulted in a near nervous breakdown for one of the women.

The current consensus is that Phillips is running a "disinform and discredit" operation for the mind control boys. He uses Cathy's obvious truthfullness and history of trauma to suck in other women with similar histories. Then he attempts to publically discredit them. The ironic thing is that the 2 women I know of that he's done this to actually have more credible stories than Cathy's. I'd be interested in any info anyone here has on O'Brien & Phillips. I have some of the same things in my history as Cathy does, but also some major differences. I sincerely want to figure out if their story is on the up-and-up.

Welcome to the forum LilyPat, 

The bottom line on Mark and Cathy is they are spreading disinfo. While some of the things they say are true, most are not. The same goes for Fritz and Cisco. It’s hard to trust any info that is out there on mind control because there is so much disinfo being spread around. So you have to take a lot of it with a grain of salt.

Thank you for the welcome:) It's frustrating, isn't it, to have the most vocal proponents of the existence of mind control ALSO be the most effective disinfo agents--?!

Many people's only knowledge of the subject comes from their two books and their speeches that are posted online. They have had an enormous impact within the very politically conservative community, especially. Their fiercest defenders (that I've encountered so far) seem to be libertarians and militia supporters, in fact.

I'm a progressive liberal and about as far away from them as it's possible to be in the US today. And I'm nearly alone as far as support (or even belief) from my side of the divide. The few liberals I know who are even aware of the subject believe it to be paranoid conspiracy and never even glance at the subject again, my own husband, in fact. My hope is that the growing evidence of mass mind control being perpetrated upon the American public will alert them to the covert ops too.

BTW, an alter of mine (Lily) is convinced that she has been involved with both GHW Bu$h and Dick Cheney--! So when Cathy talks about them, Lily's actually briefly co-present with me as I read. Today a photo of Cheney popped up on my news page unexpectedly and I felt a flash of emotion from her. It appalls me and I pray daily that it will turn out that she was programmed to beleive that the meetings took place and that it was a programmer's sick fantasy

Thanks for the post and bringing up Cathy O'Brien again.  I have read about and have seen a video of Cathy O'Brien, and I still do not know what to make of her.

You sound like you have a lot of interesting info.  I have gone to the link that you posted and have been reading the posts on EZBoard.  It (almost) makes me want to begin posting there, but after reading what some of the people have gone through with that board, as well as others, it gives me pause.  I sure don't want to be "targeted" by anyone out there who does not want us to be delving into this subject.  So for now, I will continue to be a "reader."  But I tell you, between my one sister and I, we sure do fit in there.
