(Let me clarify: Whe someone thinks negative about you, send you bad vibes, inadvertendly throw bad stuff into your aura, etc, they are giving you the "evil eye").

The red string might not be as good a protection as they thought since as we know, all these celebrities have been devastated lately. Nicole Riche might face the same sentence as Paris Hilton. Lindsey Lohan crashed her car and authorities found alcohol and cocaine in her system. 

They might not even be following the proper form of judaism anyhow.
