Celiac
#1
Hi Shawn,

I will start you off!

I have a friend who is celiac, first of all it is very hard for me to explain to him the mind pattern of this Dis-ease, because I have to explain what a mind pattern is! All I end up doing is raving on because he just can not fathom the thought that this illness has been created by his own emotional translation of life.

To treat this Dis-ease on the physical level without acknowledgement of his own power is extremely frustrating. However you must work with the tools that are available, I have suggested some things that have helped him. He finds it very hard to stick to the strict diet that this Dis-ease requires and is taking medication each time he has the urge to eat something with gluten.

What do you suggest for him?

Hi K,

Well in regards to celiac, if they don't wish to go on the specific diet for this so called disease, then repairing the gut wall is what they could work with if they are willing. For celiac is caused by the common problem of "leaky gut syndrome". The intestinal epithelial barrier of the gut wall breaks down causing an inflammatory response between the balance of the gluten antigens; hence the reaction to grains etc etc etc.

Basically they need to avoid lectin containing foods for 30 days (grains, soy, tomato's etc, there is plenty of lists on the net). Through out this time they are concentrating on repairing that gut wall. So, you simply take a gut flora (micro bacteria that colonize the intestinal track) which must contain "lactobacillus plantarum", of course there are many more strains of micro bacteria, but plantarum must be contained in the formula in regards to celiac).

Also a product called "Glutamine" (available in just about any health food store these days, recommended dose). This reduces pro-inflammatory cytokine production to reduce the sensitivity to gluten.

And also a vegetable derived "enzyme formula", that must contain at least, amylase, protease, lipase and cellulose (recommended dose).

These three supplements make life a lot easier for a celiac patient and do not react with mainstream medications.

There are many excellent "enzyme" supplements, and mirco "gut flora" supplements,  however it all comes down to what we are willing to pay.

For example, Garden of Life USA has a brilliant gut flora, which contains the "lactobacillus plantarum" as above, however it also contains "homeostatic soil organisms" (that we all need). HSO's are something missing from our diets almost completely. Of course organic foods contain HSO's, for they are only up taken when the soil is rich with a correct P.H and no chemicals etc are used. In regards to repairing the gut wall, yes we need the beneficial bacteria (gut flora), however we also need the HSO's, not many companies make supplements containing HSO's, and Garden of Life makes one of the best; http://www.gardenoflifeusa.com/detail_pr...ense.shtml

However all those supplements, Glutamine, Gut Flora, and Enzymes (say, "genuine N- Zimes" are good enough) can be found in most health food stores quite easily. If the gut is repaired, so is the celiac. Anything to help rebuild that gut lining is the call for the day with celiac patients, so best to focus on that area if he dosen't want to look at the mind pattern.

Hi Shawn,

Well, I gave him the info, and as we talked, he said he was sure it was all caused by his job; he is a baker – a real punishment having this disease with that occupation. I said to him that he was not born with it, and he can treat it, and that the stomach gets Dis-eased mostly from stress, he looked at me like I had two heads. I asked him if he had suffered any emotional stress prior to this sickness, even a year or two, he told me his mum had cancer and was given only a short time to live, however she beat it an now is a healthy woman, so that made him realize that I am not some new age weirdo! But we will see because I have learned that many people actually like being sick, it gives them a sense of power as they are constantly getting attention. I will keep you informed, thanks again.

Hi K,

How insightful and I couldn't agree more, and a baker with celiac, what a combination. I know full well what you mean, if people are not willing to let go of their underlying emotional condition (left-spinning energy fields) that usually goes with all diseases then true healing is impossible, or they just re-create it again.

Certainly seen a lot of clients as you describe, taking great pleasure (even if subconscious) in the attention (energy) gained (drained lol) by the people around them, or woundology as it is sometimes called. Or even the opposite way around, so obessed with their health that the subconscious stress of it all is making them worst, oh the joy of the madness.

One friend that took no products, no dietary changes etc and had chronic allergies. He simply released the mind-pattern, with only the intent that he simply did not believe he had allergies anymore, that it was no longer a possibility in his reality. To this day he does not have allergies and did nothing on a physical level, and I mean, he had chronic allergies. Now of course that is rare, but still a possibility for all us so called new age nuts.

"Think of a lectin as a protein containing a key that fits a certain type of lock. This lock is a specific type of carbohydrate. All life forms, plant and animal, insect and fungus have cell membranes that contain carbohydrates that sit within and project from the membrane. If a lectin with the right key comes in contact with one of these 'locks' on the gut wall or artery or gland or organ it 'opens the lock', that is disrupts the membrane and damages the cell and may initiate a cascade of immune and autoimmune events leading to cell death".

Shawn,

I like that term, Woundology, it is a great. My mum has a friend who is only young, she is in her 40’s and has had cancer for almost 20 years in different areas of her body, she finds it, gets it cut out or zapped, recovers and is like a new woman, my mum said she is a hosipitalholic, another term I like. She has had cancer in the breast, ovaries, throat and many skin cancers, disease that are too numerous to mention but once the doctor treats, the nurses care, she is fine and goes back to work in full swing for a couple of months. Her mind pattern is she can only receive compassion and love under conditions that require her to loose dignity so her victim mentality is quite extreme. However her family has become so used to her being sick that they do not fear loosing her anymore because her recovery is so good and people are just tired of hearing her complaints, she will eventually will herself to death because her cycle depends on the compassion of the sickness. It is always interesting to analyze the pattern of thoughts. Thanks for all your advice, always helpful.

Hi Karen,

Yes it's strange the different mind patterns we choose to believe are real for our experience. Like you said, her mind pattern is she can only recieve compassion and love under conditions that require her to lose her dignity, thats just so sad, poor thing, however we can not play the game if they are to change I guess. Finding the part in ourselves that is willing to change the mind pattern in the first place is a mind pattern in its own right. Lacking self-esteem/worth, dignity and self honor, one may as well go and dance with the devil.
