Charleston South Carolina rattled with a weak 3.6 earthquake this Tuesday morning , recorded at 7:42 a.m. In 2005 a 2.6 earthquake was registered in Charleston. An associate professor of geology at Charleston College claims there are 30 to 40 earthqukes in the Charleston area that are so weak they aren't felt.
It seems to me that these many small tremors would work to dissipate energetic build up .
