Gotta love those those dogs say no? They're great.

...and who doesn't? lol Given life itself is like ONE big sea of madness, it's no wonder we have our work cut out for us.:)
Hi Bluemoon,
I made a typo error, it was MABUS that I mean't to write down, not MABUSA. But that doesn't change anything, what I was implying still holds with ether name.
oBAMa... if the middle of his name is reversed, and US (UnitedStates) is added onto the end we come up with... MABUS. Which is the name given to the 3rd antiChrist by Nostradamus. Even his greatest supporter, or one of, is called Ray Mabus.

"You see, their morals, their code, it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these... these civilized people, they'll eat each other."

and from Dr. Thompson ... "When the going gets weird, the weird turn Pro."
2 quotes I try to remember as the world gets weirder. Both have to do with holding The S*** Together.
Youââ¬â¢re a lucky man Andrew X, spending the day fishing and enjoying the open sea. My favorite quote from that movie Sily was ââ¬Åwhy so seriousââ¬Â that is a message that rings true because the world is becoming so serious and waiting for ââ¬Ëdooms dayââ¬â¢.
One big sea of madness, but would we have it any other way?
Earth is covered mostly by water, and this element reflects on our daily life and being a man of the ocean Andrew X, you should know that the journey is sometimes rough, life threatening, but other times tranquil and calm, and if you do not take the time to enjoy it, you miss itââ¬Â¦.
I've had so much turbulance in my life Karen, and still do to this day believe it or not, that I wouldn't miss it in a fit if it chose to go into complete hiding. But I know what you mean... sadly enough.icon_sad LOLOL
I do know how lucky I am though... being able to do as I do on the seas and oceans is nothign short of a priviledge... I know my blessings, this and living in Australia are but two of them.
I did have a good day btw...
A mate and I shot out into Bass Strait at 3am last night and fished it through till 3pm this afternoon. We got alot of small tablefish like flathead, garfish and trevelly, but could only conjure up 2 decent sized Snapper. One in the dark just before dawn... the other just after dawn. But it was a glorious day with very little wind and a midday air temp of about 24degC on the water... which means in the city it would have reached about 28-30degC. We have a great air-conditioner out here on Bass Strait.icon_biggrin
Here's the 2 fish, almost of identical size opposite gender. The Male we released and kept the female as she must have just emptied her roe sacks. Here belly wasn't bulgeing as it does when her roe sacks are full and in season. They arrive here in good numbers around Nov-Dec and breed on the grounds we were at. Once done they hang around till March-May and then return to the warmer areas out near the continental shelf for winter. Some stay behind and loose their red colouring as they end up with grey colouring on their backs and a pale white on their belly instead of bright rich red on their backs with a shiny 'near snow white' belly as you see in the picture. The cold of winter does it to them.
...sorry I had to blank out my friends face. I told him I'd be posting it on the inet and he didn't want his face to be seen. He's shy I suppose.
Here's the male...note the scares on and around his nose/snozza... that's a direct reslt of the fish RAMMING mussels on rocks and craking them open for dinner.
Below, a mate of mine sent me this pic with a mutaul Friend of ours and permision to show it without blanking out faces. It shows them during a fishing trip on the surf using a device they developed that can take out a heavy baited line past the breakers... and releases the line where yo please... she's a little beauty if you ask me.

Almost prophetic as scary and as true as it is.icon_afraid

I know what you mean Andrew X, life is not easy and some days I think and feel the same way. It is hard work focusing on the good things you do have, because there is always something missing to make it complete.
I was down the coast yesterday, just had to go and recharge my spirit for a bit in the sea water, but this weather can you believe it?
