My guess is no they don't use paper money. This planet didn't use paper money until the Jews created it. The civilizations that were here before the Jews used the barter system. The ancient civilizations were created by aliens. So that means they showed us how to use the barter system.

A good example is the story of the grays trading us technology for letting them experiment on humans.

It would be a drag if they did use money but it IS an excellent way to create a hierarchy and enslave most people. Plus there's always the incentive card that could be pulled i.e. if you only work harder, for us, don't rock the boat, rewarding "scientific/mathematical" minds etc. Money is an effective enslaver.

I bet the regressive aliens use it and the more benevolent ones have solved the problems that would require money such as fuel, dwellings, food, clothing. They take care of their citizenry easily without the use of money.

Interesting topic, Plastic11.

I like coins better than paper money. I remember when I saw old coins in for example some kind of a museum, it fascinated me and provoked sort of romantic sensations with me.
Coins could be used in a proper barter system, I suppose. Corruption is easier to be accomplished when using paper money.

That'd be cool to accumulate millions of 'gray' bucks to buy one of their ships. How cool would it be to have THEIR money.. and all the alien tech that it could buy..

Also, knowledge can be for sale. Truths for $$..

It's hard to say if coins are used or not. It would depend on what they value. Before Columbus came to Americas there was lots of gold and silver but no one was using them as money. It's said on some other worlds when the beings want something all they have to do is visualize it. Al Bielek said in the future this planet quit using money. Monroe said the same thing.

Gold can be seen as a kind of universal "money" and in history used for arts, jewelry and power demonstration. It is valuable, limited available, and it has excellent physical and spiritual characteristics i.e for: electro-conductivity, chemical stability, photonics, laser technology, nano-electronics, biotechnology, smart material applications, medical cures, talismans, mind-amplifier, wealth amplifier, smart scanners, wireless datacommunication, geo-engineering etc.

Gold could be be universal money but I would like to think on other planets they have risen above money. Money is a barbaric form of slavery. Since earth is the lowest on the totem pole my guess is still the other planets have risen above money. When there is money everything that is done is for self. Without money everything that is done is for the community.

Gold is just valuable cause it's hard to get. A few centuries years ago, aluminum was worth more than gold. There even existed aluminum bars. Do you want an aluminum bar? Probably not.. cause it's worth like a buck today.
