OK, opera makes a clicking sound every time you open the page . So its not the banner. It might be the banner or flash ad when the page starts. I went here to stop all sounds in opera, but that wont stop a flash file, but they do say there is an work around.

Sound from plug-ins
Many plug-ins produce sound, by playing videos, music or animations. These plug-ins control the level of sound themselves, and most media players will allow you to mute sound.
One exception to this is Flash, where it is up to each movie to offer a volume control or mute button, which many don't. To silence these, you can use a utility created by Einar Otto Stangvik called FlashMute, which lets you mute Flash movies from the system tray. FlashMute is currently only available for Windows.
