Getting Motivated
#1
I have always found it hard to get motivated and later I would resent plans being set back. So I looked around the internet for some advice on how to stay on a routine or get motivated to do so. A thread came across to me that really resembled me in some ways. I thought I should share this link because college students need more motivation than most other people and that's why the information could help anyone.

An interesting response in that thread refers to www.stevepavlina.com . I believe that website also talked about "The Secret," so it's a very interest sychronicity although Steve happens to be the best person for self-improvement advice.

Neuro-Programmer 2 Professional is working very well. I just started with SMR Session and ADD sessions during study times and Sleep Induction at night. My Chronic Fatigue and exhaustion decreased dramatically and I can actually focus on reading materials. Most importantly, I feel more motivated and less lethargic.

All the frequencies do hurt my head, but perhaps I will adapt to them.

There are many success stories and theories with Neuro-Programmer 2. I will start a thread on it in the Science and Technology forum someday.

Octahedron, I have to honestly say that this gave me more results in the first few days than anything has ever done for me in the previous years. And yes I've searched all the time for relief or the "ultimate cure". I agree they shouldn't title it "neuro-programmer" - it does sound dangerous.

I understand the general mood on this board, so I choose not to post about Neuro Programmer 2 and the numerous success stories in the Science and Technology board. I'm not encouraging anyone to view their website at all. People, just please don't say things about it when you have never even searched it up on other message boards or tried it yourself (probably not).

Hello Octahedron,

I know I have said some things in response that entirely do not agree with your beliefs and seem to be showcasing a preliminary to antagonistic conflict, but I do not intend to rival you.

My only intention is to post what gives results and a peace of mind ~ this means whether it is sensible under any philosophy...

PS. (Added)
There are usually two reasons why people sought out the spiritual or philosophical path in the first place: Either they need a peace of mind or that something doesn't feel justified (like they feel the world they live in is too mundane). These two reasons had motivated most people. But as they leave room for this new lifestyle it eventually becomes an integrated part of their personalities and mold of thinking.

Being on the former path, it is rare, but I ignore what does not work and stay in several paths at once instead of peeking thru just one outlook on life. I usually try being up to par with the former reason - that's for a peace of mind, healing, and prosperity. I always share what I approve of so that others can find immediate answers and relief in their lives as well. Even if there are a few in many, there are those who will appreciate what I try to share. And, there will always be those who will never give me a chance. But they should all understand what I'm all about. I'm about being practical, offering free solutions, and sticking with only what works.

We are friends. I hope it remains that way.

Weng, if things seem to work doesn't imply they are safe.

If I want to lift up my mood I can use drugs or alcohol; they work also, or even better than the hyperspace teachings.

I haven't read a negative side-effect from discussions boards (including those boards from other websites not associated with the products/services). And these have been around for a long while. On the other hand, alcohol has been described as bad on websites. Do you see where I'm coming from?

But no matter what path anyone is on, if they take it seriously then their life experiences will always revolve around it. This means hyperspace techniques or reiki will work if you believe they do, and they would work in every way you intend them to. But for most people who cannot entirely devote to a belief system will always find difficulty and frustration no matter what.

This is from my experience. I prefer something that is valid in the sense that you don't need your total attention to make it work because it just works by pure science. I'm just sharing what works in that manner.

I AM NOT SUGGESTING people to throw away books they have read or believed in. PLEASE DON'T. I would just like to bring this attention to others that things work this way. Hopefully they can use their minds to make what they believe in work as they intend, or look somewhere else.

I don't know if you base your beliefs in philosophy, outlook, and a sense of hopefulness or inner fulfillment, or pure results, but we are on different paths regardless and they are each true in that sense.

SI,

You belong to the generation X, the generation of technological awareness, with this comes the ability to make incredible salaries for little hard labor. It is mind activity, the mind has been separated from the body and this is the programming. With the constant mind activity the body needs more rest, so there is abnormal sleep patterns, web searching also creates you to become nocturnal because there is an interior mission to search for something and you loose the energy of time, this is what happened with many Montauk survivors, to this day most have no concept of time or how to organize their day around the 24 hour/7day calendar. This makes you seem irresponsible to those who share your life, because this creates a non-dependable attitude.

You say that these forums have no negativity, but they do because they are providing you with more and more people who have no motivation or energy, you are putting your mind-pattern into a Dis-ease that has been fabricated by the illuminati.  Energy constructs energy, and if you are not constructing then you will be constantly tired.

My daughter’s friend who is 18, recently went to the doctor feeling tired, and not happy within herself, usually a sparkly girl who is always smiling, my daughter told her to come and see me before believing the doctors words.

He told her that she is depressed and she needs to immediately take anti depressants because she is in the first stages of CFS. Who is a doctor? A man/woman who’s only knowledge is from a text book of structured rules to instill illness through society, and most receive bonus incentive from the pharmaceutical industry, the more prescriptions the more money.

The only way to get motivated is to structure a system, a routine, regular time to wake, sleep, eat and work or study. If you have no energy, today walk to the end of your front garden, tomorrow the end of the street and so on until you can walk the block. You need at least 20 min of sun each day to provide vitamin D, which is your calcium builder, you need to boost your body with a B complex and also relax the nervous system with co enzyme. You need to walk, jog or cycle; you can only build your energy with energy.

Take yourself away from sick people, go sit down the beach where people are having fun, change your energy field. Sit in the park and spend less time on the computer, you are the only one who can heal your body, it is your body and you are the one who has the pain, no one can feel it but you.

How can you get what you want if you do not know what it is you want, get a journal write down goals, start small – tomorrow I will do …, then grow from that. Each time you write down something it relays to the right/left brain, then the words become reality and this is the only way to change your mind pattern. Write down 5 things you do not like about yourself, then on the opposite side of the page write 10 things you do like about yourself.

If you do not change today, tomorrow will be just the same and the next day and so on... Every person is unique and offers a special energy to life, every person is just as important as the next and every person has someone that loves them.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is unwritten, today is the present – this is why it is a gift

Thank you, Astrojewels, for that very inspiring and helpful post. I will do my best to exercise everyday and start an entry. I do find it hard to follow rigid schedules but that's probably because I'm an aquarius. They don't like to stick with schedules.

My energy levels are improving. I can keep up with more work now when before I would faint from exhaustion. This is all thanks to the new things I'm trying.

I still have to find ways to improve my focus, general IQ, reading comprehension and mental capabilities because I WANT TO BE AN ENGINEER, and this is my college major, but I'm afraid I don't have the mind for it. If only I were more competent I would have time for exercising among other things, but I don't.

And although the experiments have improved my writing and speaking, they can only do so much if I want to accomplish myself as a competent student!

With the piles of homework and studying adding up, I can't even go on HCF too often anymore. It's even harder to find time to tune into my body. Sleeping is also off because I try to have a social life as well. I can never conquer the piles of work because lectures are getting more and more difficult.

This has been placing tremendous stress on myself, but it's college and I am expected to do so much work. So I must suck it up. I won't get anywhere by dropping out. These days it seems like the only things besides college that assure financial stability are talents in singing, acting, or being an entrepreneur.

Anyways, you don't see asian actors in the media. They only have mostly asian women and rarely any asian men unless they know martial arts. This is not because they don't try to get into the industry, there are a lot who have tried and many with exceptional talents, but asian men don't fit the traditional stereotype or something.

Then Hollywood portrays asian women as sex-obssessed creatures and match them up with caucasian men. Most asian girls admit to me that they don't even like their own ethnicity as mating partners. Even my cousin admited she doesn't like asian men because they aren't manly. And I believe this is majorly due to part by Hollywood. Now I don't care about asian women being portrayed as sex-obsessed since that can just increase their chance of mating (I'll care if they face sexual harrassment), but it's another thing when I have to worry about my own ethnicity having anything to do with this and that I am stereotypically unmasculine and sexually uninterested. Asian women are becoming more and more uninterested in us. Meanwhile, other women aren't interested because they don't often see an asian men and nonasian women on the screen. Heck, you hardly see any asian men mate. Yes, so unrealistic but humans are social creatures and easily manipulated. The social stereotypes and archetypes do affect human psyche. Sometimes unfairly. This is just a digression. These are some of the things I've been thinking about...

You probably notice I'm scatter-brained on this post, but that's because it's 3am in the morning and I just finished my homework for calculus online. Our math homework is done online and never on paper. Isn't it surprising? ><

PS. Yes, I sound somewhat bitter. Who doesn't when there's so much stress involved? But don't get me wrong: I am happy for some things, like getting positive results for my health. But alas, even that can't help but be overshadowed by the grim reality of college. Ergo, bitterness in the overall tone of this entry.
