A FLEET of UFOs in formation has been photographed ââ¬â on Google.
The nine silver spheres hover above a row of shops, including a Coral bookies, on the internet giantââ¬â¢s new Street View service.
Sun reader Faye Sharpe, 18, discovered them while viewing her neighbourhood of Wolverley Street in Bethnal Green, East London.
Faye said: ââ¬ÅI was checking out the road to see if I could spot my mates. I thought it looked very strange and zoomed in.
ââ¬ÅI thought it was some planes but they look pretty close together for that. Maybe they are UFOs.ââ¬Â
Yesterday baffled ufologist Nick Pope said he was ââ¬Åvery excitedââ¬Â by the image, which he labelled ââ¬Åtruly fascinatingââ¬Â.
He added: ââ¬ÅIt appears to show nine objects flying in near perfect formation. About the only thing I know that can do this is the Red Arrows ââ¬â and itââ¬â¢s not them.ââ¬Â
Mr Pope, who used to investigate sightings for the Ministry of Defence, said: ââ¬ÅIââ¬â¢ve run through the list of possibilities that normally explain these things, but I canââ¬â¢t find an answer.ââ¬Â
Yesterday The Sun visited the street to talk to locals about the mysterious find. Holly Riding, 19, said: ââ¬ÅItââ¬â¢s definitely weird.ââ¬Â
Karishma Daswani, 22, added: ââ¬ÅThe fact that they are flying in formation is very strange.ââ¬Â
Oriele Calvert, 44, said: ââ¬ÅThis is definitely the strangest thing Iââ¬â¢ve ever seen in Bethnal Green.ââ¬Â
Street View, on Google Maps and Google Earth, shows 360-degree views of 25 cities throughout the country.
