Hello!
#1
I came to this board from a link on Rick Ross because of your information on Stewart & Janet Swerdlow and their Expansions site. I am not a follower of them and find much of their stuff rehashed stuff from elsewhere. There is also some very dangerous stuff there.
I have a friend who has become very involved with them and a I very concerned for her. Her thoughts and conversations have been totally taken over by these people and she has picked up some very bizarre notions. I am seeking help about this.
Thanks for any help.

Hi MinRVA,

What kind of help are you asking for?

Mercy, Thanks for the reply. I am not sure what kind of help I need. I do know I need to know how to talk to her and rebut some of her crazier ideas that she has picked up from the Swerdlows.
The reason I am so concerned is that she has developed a sexual/romantic fixation on SS and wants to hook up with him. She is also trying to do business with them and their publishing network by offering her services as an e-book coder for JS in exchange for reading from SS. She stands to inherit a lot of money from her mother one day and I bet she has told the Swerdlows about that.
She has become very secretive about her personal life and feelings and says that she mostly confides in SS now.
I stopped sending her various holiday cards ( I create such items for friends) because even though she said the items were beautiful and well-intentioned, she would say that SS said this or that thing about them is evil and 'Illuminati' or "reptilian' and that the colors and/or deign elements I used were all wrong and influenced by the Illuminati. How in the heck do I approach a person that is that brain-washed and try to get her to wake up and see it before she totally ruins her life?
She says SS is her guru and she runs her every thought, dream, idea etc. by him.
I am not afraid for myself in this as I don't have anything to do with them, nor do I want to. I would love to be able to expose them as the hucksters that they are but legally that might be hard. I am some one that is so hard to brainwash that back in the day I had the leader of a Children of God group offer to pay my transportation out of town just to get me away from the group! I also had a Course in Miracles group leader put me on the keep away list.
That is why I am so astonished when people seem to fall prey to people like the Swerdlows. To me they are really obvious hucksters who spout a lot of re-hashed new age techniques and outlandish conspiracy theory laced with spurious history and use hypnosis and love-bombing to control vulnerable people and their money.
That's not saying that I don't think some conspiracy theories have validity and that all new techniques are garbage. Some conspiracy theories, especially those about 9-11 have at least a grain of truth in them and many new age techniques are good. I personally study astrology. It's just that the Swerdlows aren't the good guys and I am very concerned for my friend.

What you have described of your friend's experience with the Swerdlow's is classic Swerdlow and con man modus operandi.

I would recommend that your friend read Jacaranda's testimony at the Rick Ross site .Also there are these videos put out by Tony that are eye opening :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9d_eL7HE...re=related

PurplePebble has done an awesome site with some explanation and insight into what is going on and actually has been going on for centuries.

The Swerdlow's are included in that.

http://dugpasandtheirrole.wordpress.com/

Basically the Swerdlow's hook into you via the various" exercises " and "techniques" they teach.

My own experience with them was brief but oh so telling. They both have been seen with solid black eyes. Like this ....

[Image: tumblr_m63rlkCwP51rxmivho1_500.jpg] I was witness to that as were others.

Other people have their own testimonies that are not mine to tell but they include being taking advantage of emotionally, sexually and financially .

Mercy, Thanks. I'll try to get her to check out the videos and testimonies but at this point, I doubt she would do it. She's always tended to believe that she is on the cutting edge of whatever spiritual trend is out there. She spends money on various psychics all the time.

She has tried to hook me into SS to no avail. I tried a couple of techniques she mentioned (spinning chakras - a basically harmless yoga-type exercise) and nothing much happened other than a mild feeling of relaxation/energy. At my friend's request, I read the JS affirmation book and found it to be sort of a standard affirmation book; no better or worse than any other but not helpful to me in the least. She also had me read the Hyperspace book, which was, to my mind, mostly a rehash (and a poor rehash at that) of numerology, color theory and a few symbols. It was less than helpful in any way and made a poor impression on me. When I told her that she said it was just an intro book and I needed to do the work to understand it. I told her no thanks, SS does not resonate with me.

One thing I am going to do next time we speak is to ask her to start giving her OWN opinions again and stop being a mouthpiece for SS. I am a Christian and I know people who spout "Jesus or the Bible says" every other word and I find them irritating, too. I don't care to speak to anyone who has been zombified by their (any) faith or belief system because they have stopped using their own mind and heart.

But the thing with the SSs is that they are so obviously harmful con artists. That goes way beyond me being irrritated and into fear for my friend's sanity and safety.

Wow minRVA, your friend is in deep. I followed the Swerdlows for years but was never that taken in. They do tend to keep the ones who they think have money very close. All you could do is follow what " Mercy Now" suggested and try to persuade your friend not to give them too much money. Don't be surprised if she is resistant. For me, it was seeing how they treated people (followers) that I had come to know. You start to get red flags when you see them turn on them one after another.

I agree the posts of Jacaranda would be very helpful if you can get her to read them. He followed them closely and they turned on him as they did on so many others. Good luck and btw she is fortunate to have a frend like you who cares enough to attempt to help her.

Hi MinRVA - you don't have an easy job on your hands - been there - but your friend's "snapping out of it" isn't out of the question either. That's what happened to me after only 9 intensive months at Expansions being involved through the internet - books, tapes, videos, the daily website - forum readings and postings.

For me it was witnessing how bullying by a cointel pro type on the forum was COMPLETELY tolerated, and since I was persistently pointing it out - I of course was banned! It was then that I realized that the classic cult-mind 'blame the victim' was in full operation there. I logged onto HCF the next day and credit the reading of the many genuine testimonies to helping me make A VERY SPEEDY getaway. Thank you HCF!

You've come to the right place, now helping her to start reading the "Introduction" section of the forum is an excellent way to see what happens to trusting individuals in these psychopath's care. THE SEXUAL ROMANTIC HOOK IS TYPICAL SWERDLOW! So are all the regular 'cult suspects' like making the victim feel as if they have insider info., isolating the victim, and implanting loads of fear-triggers. Through their diabolical methods...they attach victims to the lower astral.

Excellent advice from MN and BlueMoon. She's very lucky to have such a discriminating friend; best wishes to you and her -- we are here.

Thank all of you for your advice and support. I have tried to get her to view the videos, J's testimony, etc. and tried pointing out to her in a kind way that she gets obsessional about so many of her things (men, relationships, spiritual work, etc.) but to no avail. Before she was involved with something called "Right Use of Will." the cosmology of it seemed tad convoluted to me but it seemed harmless at worst. Not my cup of tea but it wasn't harmful or evil. The Expansions people are another kettle of fish entirely, however.
I am a bit of a sensitive and it is interesting to me that in one of Y.'s videos, SS was in the corner and wow, I saw this dark energy that he was literally hiding behind. It was like he had that there as a veil so others couldn't really see him.
There seems to be a lot of other interesting discussions here on other topics which I might join in on sometime.
And to the ex-Expansionist that I read about trying to jump into the James River (here or at Rick Ross?) . If you are here and need someone in the area to talk to that is not in awe of SS, I am in your neck of the woods.

Dear Minrva,

Pity that you have already left us. However, I do hope that you will still read this.

What happens to your friend is typical to cults and sects, and Expansions is no different here. You fill find a lot of posts on this website that discuss this. What happens is the Swerdlows are trying to get their followers to believe in their distorted world view. They do so being putting their own "truths" above that of others. Now this is a sensible breaking point, but where most people will tend to back off. However, some people will actually believe in what they say and listen further. The next stage of involvement is that the Swerdlows will add to their story that whatever else is out there (views, science, opinions, etc.) is all wrong an manipulated. People easily get hocked by asking themselves the "what if...?" question. What if there really was a conspiracy? What if indeed... Though the answer is that it wouldn't change your life at all. Anyway, this is why your friend is getting more and more self-involved, as she knows very well that anybody around her will remind her that what the Swerdlows do and talk about is wrong, complete lies, and in some cases even criminal. Deep down she knows that the whole thing is wrong, but she is hanging on to her current world view which she is exploring.

In my case, what helped me was to realize that Expansions is nothing but a sect, a UFO religion, with two self-proclaimed gurus. These are dangerous people, not in that they can harm you, but in that they will threaten you to shut up should you dare to leave. Again, classic sect behavior. This thing about your friend admiring Stewart is pure sect behavior, where the self-proclaimed guru takes on a father figure.

Other than telling her what Expansions really is and showing her the facts about how this world really works, you can't do much. Though when you tell her the truth, I would also offer to be there for her when she will wake up to reality again. Don't be surprised if the whole process takes a few weeks, it is difficult to realize you were part of a sect with the social stigma that is attached to it. The other thing you should probably recommend her is to block all her credit cards and request new ones with new numbers, as the Swerdlows will have no problem in continuing to charge credit cards of their former clients.

Good luck!

Good summary you made here, Jacaranda,

that image put by Mercy Now is interesting; Although I did not see black eyes, I had the experience when I met S, he was in the end trying to tap energy from me when he was "scanning" me; I think he knew I had detected his attempt. He made some predictions about my life (which I did reject for myself, considering them as manipulation to take him to seriously, because the future can not be predicted). The predictions he made about the global agenda is proof for me that he is part of an engineered agenda i.e. to promote the idea of a the collapse of the USA, California etc in the NWO. Some parts of his predictions and information were very true, some parts were false as given as an add-on to manipulate (probably me too) on the true facts and the real planned NWO.

Ok, S has some scanning abilities, esp. about current life. His claims about reincarnation are false; his claims about simultaneous existences is sometimes correct in the sense that the detected energies can tell something about existing lifeforces in the past or at this moment; however this almost has nothing to do with reincarnation.

in general for myself; I do consider EVERY-body who is promoting the idea of reincarnation is a disinformant; altough in a few cases reincarnation does exist and in that case it could be related to simultaneous existences detected. Simultaneous existences (or better formulated simultaneous existent energies) do exist in almost everybody, but they often have nothing to do with re-incarnation.

With all of this, despite S is a criminal conman and disinformant, he was far the most interesting disinformant in the conspiracy industry for me. He is much further in knowledge than David Icke and others; he knows (fed by his Rothschild masters) about the hot stuff of programming and triggers; he is a real agent in the NWO agenda; he knows and is able to explain about the details of alternative science. And lbnl, S nows much about new age subjects, religious belief systems and bible stories. That all makes him also one of the most dangerous disinformants in the world.

....

?? seems women have a different motive to go to such a guru than men do have ?

As a man I only can speak for myself I was mainly interested in S to get information and inside knowledge which took me a lot of time and effort to check. Participating at this forum was the best opportunity to do just that !
