This is a pretty exciting time for me as I'm setting up my first ever home gym, in my first ever home. Ive always wanted one, as ive spent years working out in public facilities and I much prefer privacy and to feel comfortable when I work my butt off. I'm happy to announce that I am the proud owner of a used Tony Little Gazelle fitness machine. It will make a splendid addition to my home gym. Money is tight so I can only purchase items which are in my budget. I bought a real awesome rowing machine from the thift store. It works nearly all upper body muscles and the legs and gives a great cardio workout, plus the resistance can be increased and decreased.
So now my home gym includes a Tony Little Gazelle, a Rowing Machine and a skipping rope. I also have a Total Gym 1000(as promoted by kung fu legend Chuck Norris, tax evasion criminal Westly Snipes, and over the hill but still hot, super model, Christy Brinkly) coming my way soon from my fine father. I'm also going to put in a set up heavy dumbells and a small TV with a VCR and some old Tae Bo tapes(Tae Bo is/was recommended and practised by hyperspace godfather Stewart Swerdlow). i do admit i am reluctant to bring even a old, tiny TV into my home, as my home is a strict NO TV ZONE. (i turned down free satellite tv, im serious about this).
I was wondering if there's anything else anyone could recommend I put in my home gym? I would really like to make it the Ultimate home gym! I think with what I'm putting in there it will be pretty cool, but I'd love some suggestions.
Also can anyone suggest some Hyperspace Archetype Pictures to hang on the gym walls and to focus on while i workout. I would like to focus on increasing my cardio, lung power, my muscle mass(more so for stamina then for size), agility, and overall workout intensity.
Thanks everyone!
