I'm back from my Magical Mystical Tour
#11
The MyBB upgrade messed all the themes. This theme had the least problems so I switched to this theme until I get them all fixed. I thinking of getting some kind of theme that goes along with the name of the forum. I did like the maroon but it had some drawbacks when people changed the color of their fonts. Most colors can't be seen well on maroon. So I realize I need to stick with light colors for the back ground.

I prefer white, as it is easier to read things. Also more neutral, as not everybody likes maroon.

Glad you're doing better, Richard! The art of such episodes is to move out strengthened, which you seem to be managing! All the best to you!

I loved the maroon theme but it limited the colors of fonts that would show up on it. MyBB will be changing this theme next year when version 2.0 come out but I think it will be still white and blue.

Next step is putting in wood floors. Over the years I've grown to hate carpet. I've been sleeping at my sisters house and working at my house when I have time. After I get the new flooring in I'll be able to move back in and start putting everything back it in it. Smile

All that is yeoman's work. Great skills to have since it saves money by avoiding the hire of contractors. But how did you learn to do it--remodeling, painting a house, removing carpets, installing new wood floors? Anyone helping you with these tasks?

The landlord didn't realize the house so run down until he came over that night. So while I was in the hospital he started clearing things up. This would not have been my plan because I don't know where everything is. I wish he would have started when I got out and could help. That way I would know where everything is.

we're getting close to finishing now. My rough guess would be 2 more weeks. I can't wait to get home. You know like Dorthy said there's no place like home.
