Increase in Violence Has Purpose | People Relocating To Small Towns | “Bidenvilles”

The Increase in Violence Has Purpose
Posted by Liberty_Lady on 29-May-2024

To all you gun grabbers out there who think that confiscating all guns will bring peace, love and light to the world, take a good look at places like Chicago and New York City. Those two cities as examples, have the strictest gun laws in the country. Even the citizens of those two metropolitan cities are fed up with the violence that effects them and their families. And, what about countries that have disarmed their citizens? People who want to kill others, and the more the better, will find a way. It could be stabbing as many people as they can before some citizen decides to take matters into his own hands It could be a truck bomb, ricin in the subway or anthrax in the mail. And, let’s not forget the fake vaccine push that has killed so many people and permanently injured even more. It's time to take your head out of the sand or wherever you have it safely tucked away, thinking that if you don't see it, it can't be happening.

Calmer and cooler heads in the gun control debate have pointed out that it isn't the weapon of choice but the people employing those weapons that kill. Gun grabbers respond that a gun can do far more damage than a knife. And my response is so can a bomb or a vehicle in the right location. I read somewhere that according to FBI statistics, more people die by the hammer than the gun. Whatever is handy.

I don't know what the full answer is to stop this mindless killing, though I do have some thoughts on who/what is causing it. But confiscating guns is not the solution. I want to be able to defend myself if necessary. And as my cousin, a retired chief deputy sheriff admitted to me when I asked him, ”How often do you get to a crime scene in progress to stop the crime?” He said twice that he could remember in a thirty year career. The rest of the time he and other law enforcement get there in time to investigate the crime. He said, “Buy a gun!”

Obama did his best to try to eliminate our second amendment right to own firearms when he was in office. John Kerry when he was Secretary of State, signed a small arms treaty with the United Nation, a foreign entity housed on American soil. Hillary Clinton, when she ran in 2016, vowed to take on gun owners in the United States if she was elected president. Which just might be one reason why she lost. And, now we have the illegitimate geriatric, worst president in our nations history yammering the same garbage. Why is it that the people who holler the loudest to take your guns away have gun toting security for themselves? Are their lives more valuable than ours? I’m sure they think so. But this deplorable begs to differ.

Their arguments for gun control are also false. As stated earlier, the majority of the episodes of gun violence happen in cities/states with the strictest gun control laws. Gun control doesn't work. So what is behind this push to follow Great Britain and Australia in eliminating gun ownership?

The answer should be obvious to anyone with any ability to think and reason. You cannot conquer a well armed and well trained population. You can't impose your radical, Marxist-Leninist-Socialist ideas on people who believe they are free. And Americans believe they are free.

And now we have had a series of killings of police officers across the country. Isn't it possible for people with half a brain cell still functioning to understand what is happening? This chaos has been planned for a very long time. Divide and conquer. Drive a wedge between law enforcement and civilians. Is anyone else old enough to remember the beat cop of the 50's and 60's,? Does he bear any resemblance to our armed to the teeth, military outfitted robot cops of today?

At the same time, drive a wedge between blacks and whites. One of the most devastating effects of the activities of groups such as ACORN and the New Black Panther Party is their reduction of a racially identified group of people to the status of dupes in a leftist power play. Minorities, especially inner city blacks, have seen the individuality they had been trying to recover as they emerged from slavery, systematically stripped from them as they were grouped together by the Marxist militants with whom Barak Obama and his administration had close ties, for the purpose of advancing their leftist 'causes'.

Every time there is an election, the Democrats try to portray themselves as the champions of the minority races; of the downtrodden; of workers. Apparently minorities like this have forgotten their history if they ever knew it. It was Republicans who actually enabled then–President Lyndon Johnson's Civil Rights legislation to pass. And John and Robert Kennedy were working on that legislation before JFK was assassinated. Republican Senator Everett Dirkson was called by Johnson to lead the vote in the Senate. Twenty-one Democrats voted against the Civil rights Act. Only six Republicans voted against it. The Democrats in the Senate did their best to obstruct the Civil rights Act.

It was also a Republican president, Dwight D. Eisenhower, who mobilized federal troops in support of the integration of the Little Rock public schools in 1957 following the landmark 1954 Brown v. Board of Education decision. So don't be so quick to think that the Democrats in Washington are your friends.(Washington Republicans don't walk on water either) Don't throw away your precious right to vote you worked so hard to obtain. Just do your homework first. And remember the track record of the buffoon in office. He voted against, as far as I could find out, every civil rights legislation to go through Congress. Including busing and integrating schools. How could he manage to convince minorities/labor, that he was on our side?

Elements of our government want to try to control our rights, guns being only one area. When it comes to government control, whether it is crippling our military through sensitivity training or redefining marriage in the name of tolerance or attempting to decrease violence by trying to ban guns or nationalizing health care, every time the government seizes control of your rights and starts meddling with your choices, a part of your freedom dies. The more power a central government has, the less you have. It's a simple principle of life and yet so many sheeple don't seem to understand this.

For those who can't see what is happening in our country, more history. The people who are trying to destroy this Republic are using the playbook of Marx and Lenin. Here is a partial list of their agenda:
1. Make a crisis
2. Make it publicly visible
3. Make sure it involves disrupting some institutional or social section
4. Capitalize on the social unrest it produces

As Obama's former radical Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel said, “You never want to let a serious crisis go to waste.” That is the strategy of Democratic Socialist (Not all Democrats) Google Dr. Richard Day's 1969 speeches to find out how far back the planning of the destruction of America goes.

So while you are still allowed to vote, make that vote count. If you want the freedoms that our Founding Fathers outlined for us, get involved. Vote for like minded people and hold their feet to the fire. If freedom doesn't matter to you, you also know how to vote for that as well. Just don't cry on my shoulder when you find yourself living in a totalitarian country.

“My friends, I must tell you that a Socialist policy is abhorrent to the very idea of freedom. Although it is put forward in the main by people well grounded in liberalism, and radicalism, there can be no doubt that socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state. No socialist government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford the all free, outspoken or any expressions of public discontent. They would have to fall back on some form of Gestapo.” Winston Churchill

As I asked in fifth grade, "If communism is such a wonderful system to live under, why do they have to control people? Why do they have to build walls to keep people in more than other people out?" The answer to that question should be more than a little obvious.

One day (soon I hope) when the majority wake up and realize just how many of their freedoms and rights have been legislated and executive ordered away, the reaction will not be pretty. It would not surprise me in the least to see these incidents of violence increase exponentially right up to the election. What a wonderful excuse to declare martial law, thereby postponing any election for the foreseeable future.

Why Are Vast Numbers Of People Relocating To Small Towns All Over The Country?
Posted by NightSky on 29-May-2024

--- - Well, Gee, I don't know!! Could it be the enforced illegals in everyone's neighborhoods? Could it be the poor school systems in the cities? That you can't even go to the mall without fear of being carjacked, harassed, beaten, or worse?

In recent years, Americans have been fleeing our largest cities in unprecedented numbers, and many of them have decided to settle down in quiet little towns all over the country. There are many reasons why this is happening, and I will highlight several of them below. If this trend continues, what will our major metropolitan areas look like? Violence, theft, drugs, homelessness and international migration have all risen to crisis levels and are putting a tremendous amount of strain on our core urban areas. Meanwhile, many small towns are absolutely booming as wave after wave of big city refugees comes pouring in.

People have been leaving large metropolitan areas for a long time, but once the pandemic arrived that trend greatly accelerated…

In the three years before the pandemic, counties in metro areas with at least 1 million residents lost a total 200,000 or so residents annually to other regions, after figuring both people moving in and leaving, according to the Goldman report. After COVID, those losses vaulted to 750,000 in 2021, 650,000 in 2022 and 550,000 in 2023, according to Goldman and Census data. The numbers reflect annual changes through July of each year.

A separate study by Lombard shows the domestic migration losses were concentrated in the largest metro areas with more than 4 million residents. Those cities shed a total 400,000 residents annually before the pandemic and have lost 820,000, 707,000 and 591,000 residents, respectively, over the past three years.

And it is being reported that last year small towns became “the nation’s top destination for domestic migrants for the first time in decades”…

Last year, about 266,000 of the big city refugees moved to metro areas with populations of 250,000 to 1 million and about 291,000 moved to areas with populations under 250,000. That made those small towns the nation’s top destination for domestic migrants for the first time in decades, Lombard says.

In 2023, the New York City metro area lost 204,000 residents; Los Angeles, 119,000; and Chicago, 64,000, according to Census and Moody’s.

So why is this happening?

Well, there are a number of reasons why so many people are relocating to small towns these days.

For many, the quality of life in big U.S. cities has become utterly deplorable. For example, one young Chicago mother recently had to wait for hours for a police officer to show up after masked robbers entered her home…

A Chicago mom who called 911 during a terrifying break-in was left on her own for hours — with dispatchers telling her to call her local representative to demand more police funding.

Michelle called the emergency hotline six times after coming face-to-face with two masked bandits, only for the strained supervisor to tell her the city’s severe budget cuts had left them with a bare-bones staff.

“A gentleman got on and said sorry to say we have no units to send you … then there was an awkward pause,” Michelle told NBC Chicago Wednesday, declining to share her name or face while her would-be robbers are still on the loose.

I don’t know why anyone would want to live in Chicago at this point.

Of course the exact same thing could be said about most of our other large cities.

Another reason why a lot of Americans are choosing to relocate has to do with taxes.

There has been a mass exodus out of “high tax states”, and Massachusetts is one of those that is being hit really hard…

Massachusetts is in danger of losing nearly $1 billion in annual revenue over the coming years as high state taxes trigger an exodus of wealthy residents.

Since 2013, migration out of Massachusetts has seen an “alarming” 1,100% increase to more than 39,000 people, according to new findings published by Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. If the trend continues, more than 96,000 residents making a cumulative $19.2 billion in adjusted gross income will leave the state by 2030.

The study estimates those departures would cost Massachusetts about $961 million in income tax revenue each year.

In my rankings of all 50 U.S. states, I have Massachusetts all the way down at number 44.

The cost of living crisis that we are currently facing is another factor that is motivating vast numbers of Americans to relocate.

At this point, we are being told that Mississippi has the lowest cost of living in the entire nation…

Imagine stepping into a world where your paycheck stretches like bubblegum and the promise of Southern charm meets you at every corner. Welcome to Mississippi, a land where the living is easy, the cost of living is easier, and every quirk adds color to the canvas of daily life. Here, your financial aspirations can don a superhero cape, albeit in a landscape peppered with challenges that keep things interesting.

One of the reasons why Mississippi has such a low cost of living is because average home prices are the lowest in the country…

Mississippi’s housing costs are the lowest in the nation. Home prices range from $32,000 to $240,000 depending on the city, with an average of $162,292.

But even though it has such a low cost of living, I don’t really like Mississippi as a place to live during the chaotic times that are coming.

In fact, in my rankings of all 50 U.S. states I have Mississippi all the way down at number 33.

Ultimately, the cost of living is only a minor consideration when it comes to choosing a place to live during the extremely difficult years that are ahead of us.

Much more importantly, you will want a location that has like-minded people, that has a low population density, that has a low risk of experiencing major natural disasters, and that is not near any important military targets.

Unfortunately, such areas have become very popular in recent years and home prices are going through the roof. For instance, the median home price in Bozeman, Montana has risen to about $770,000…

Nowhere has the affordability crisis been felt as acutely as in Bozeman, a city of about 56,000 not far from Yellowstone National Park and the upscale Big Sky skiing community. Bozeman, where the median home sells for about $770,000, has had so many out-of-state arrivals over the years that Montanans sometimes refer to it as “Boz Angeles.”

As high-end rentals in Bozeman spring up next to historic homes and new arrivals snap them up, a smattering of tents and RVs have begun to populate the outskirts of town: homeless residents priced out by rising rents.

Many longtime Montanans bristle at the newcomers, and bumper stickers proclaiming some version of “Montana Is Full” abound, occasionally with an expletive attached. Some locals blame the popular television show “Yellowstone” for romanticizing the Mountain West, luring people to the state.

A lot of Americans now find themselves priced out of many of the most desirable communities in the country, and that is extremely unfortunate.

If you are considering relocating to another part of the nation, I would encourage you to do it soon.

Because global events are starting to really go haywire, and the clock is ticking.

During The Great Depression They Were Called “Hoovervilles”, But Today America’s Shantytowns Are Called “Bidenvilles”

To those at the bottom of America’s economic pyramid, it feels like the economy has already collapsed.  When you can’t afford to put a roof over your head and you barely have enough food to eat, nothing else really matters.  During the Great Depression of the 1930s, millions of homeless Americans created large shantytowns known as “Hoovervilles” all over America.  Unfortunately, we are witnessing the same thing today.  Our homeless population is rapidly exploding, and those that have nowhere to live are creating shelters for themselves out of wood, cardboard boxes, tents, tarps, construction materials and whatever else they can find.  In some cases, very large shantytown communities are being established, and they are primarily populated by our young adults…

During the Great Depression (1929 to 1933), 48 percent of the nation was homeless, living with relatives or in “shantytowns,” “Hoovervilles.”  Today, between 47 and 52 percent of young adults are homeless, living with parents or shelters, a direct result of Biden’s radical overspending, energy and immigration policies, inflation, and high interest, turning America into a giant “Bidenville.”

One “Bidenville” that has been getting a lot of attention recently is located in Oakland, California.

A video of that “Bidenville” that was posted on social media on May 31st shows “massive temporary houses built along service roads”…

Shocking footage has emerged showing a gigantic ‘shantytown’ that has sprung up in Oakland, as the California city’s slide into crime-ravaged squalor continues.

Michael Oxford, the host of CaliBased, posted a video on May 31 of massive temporary houses built along service roads that open up into main roads in Hooverville, Oakland.

The footage showed trash strewn around scores of houses that were built of wood, tarp and other discarded materials.

I write about this stuff all the time, but it is still hard to believe that so many people are living in third world conditions in the United States of America in 2024.

Parts of Oakland are worse than a third world country.

They just allow people to live in absolute squalor, wherever they choose.

This looks like Hooverville during the great depression.

Welcome to Oakland’s very own Gavinville. pic.twitter.com/L58uK2E6Sh

    — Michael Oxford – AKA The Santa Cruz Mountain Goat (@SCMountainGoat) June 1, 2024

The man that shot the video, Michael Oxford, used the term “absolute squalor” to describe the conditions that he witnessed…

Particularly shocking was just how large the ‘shantytown’ is, with a lengthy stretch of road in the Bay Area city covered with the makeshift dwellings.

Oxford could be heard calling the area a ‘shantytown’ that is ‘absolutely mindboggling,’ as he remarked how ‘insane it is that [city officials] allow this.’

He captioned the video, ‘Parts of Oakland are worse than a third world country. They just allow people to live in absolute squalor, wherever they choose.

If you live in “wealthy America”, you may never even drive into areas where people are living like this.

Your reality may be filled with tree-lined streets and rich people sipping coffee.

But in the worst areas of Oakland, the lawlessness never ends.

In fact, authorities in Oakland recently removed traffic lights at one major intersection and replaced them with stop signs because thieves were constantly stealing copper wire from the electrical boxes…

The city of Oakland recently removed traffic lights from one busy intersection and replaced them with stop signs after the electrical boxes that controlled the traffic lights were repeatedly tampered with and copper from them was stolen.

Local residents and those who own businesses in the area say the issue with the traffic lights stems from the nearby homeless encampment, which has grown over the years.

The owner of a vehicle repair shop on the corner of the intersection, Tam Le, said the city is signaling that it is ‘giving up on us,’ by installing the stop signs.

If you want someone to blame for this mess, you can blame the politicians in Washington.

Thanks to the horrific inflation that they have created, approximately a quarter of the population in California is either living in poverty or is very close to living in poverty…

Biden needn’t worry about losing California to Trump, but it has one of the nation’s highest rates of inflation, according to Moody’s Analytics, worsening its already outlandishly high costs of housing and other living expenses. It’s the biggest factor in California having the highest level of functional poverty of any state, 13.2% according to the U.S. Census Bureau, about 50% higher than the national rate.

The Public Policy Institute of California, using similar statistical methodology, has found that a quarter of Californians are either living in poverty or financially close. More recently, the PPIC has explored the impact of inflation, especially on California families which struggle to pay for housing, food and other necessities.

Sadly, this is just the beginning, because our economy is going downhill really fast.

In May, pending home sales plunged to a depressingly low level…

Well, the analysts had the direction right but magnitude was way off as pending home sales plunged 7.7% MoM – the biggest drop since Feb 2021 (and below the lowest estimate), leaving sales down 0.7% YoY…

This is the 29th straight month of YoY declines for non-seasonally-adjusted pending home sales.

This MoM decline pushed the Pending Home Sales Index back to record lows…

Meanwhile, Zero Hedge reported that the Chicago PMI index fell so low in May that it suggested that “the economy is in a depression”…

After unexpectedly slumping last month to 37.9, the Chicago PMI index cratered even more unexpectedly in May, when it defied hopes of a rebound to 41.5, and instead tumbled even more, sliding to a cycle low of 35.4 which was not only below the lowest estimate, but was staggeringly low. To get a sense of just how low, the last two times it printed here was during the peak of the covid and global financial crises…

… which seems to suggest that at least according to Chicago-based purchasing managers, the economy is in a depression.

I would agree with that assessment.

Things are getting really bad out there.

To top everything off, in May the Dallas Fed Services Sector survey was in contraction territory for the 24th month in a row…

Despite Bernstein and Biden demanding the great unwashed realize just how great they have it in America, this morning’s Dallas Fed Services Sector survey offers some insights from actual real people in the actual real world trying to do actual real business… and it’s not pretty.

For two straight years (24 straight months), the Texas Services sector has been in contraction (below zero) with May’s -12.1 print worse than expected. For context, the Great Recession of 2008/2009 also saw 24 straight months of negative prints…

But if you live in “wealthy America”, you may not care about these numbers because you still live in a nice home and you still have plenty of nice things.

Unfortunately, the number of people that can afford to live in “wealthy America” is shrinking with each passing day.

And the gap between the wealthy and the rest of us just continues to get larger and larger.

Ultimately, the stage is being set for a societal meltdown of absolutely epic proportions.

The bottom 50 percent of the population only owns just 2.6 percent of all the wealth, and they are becoming very restless.

When people have nothing left to lose, they become very desperate, and very desperate people do very desperate things.
