Is Monarch and/or Marrionett programming the same thing?

Does anyone know if this is true? Anymore info on the Marrionette programming?

To my knowledge, Marionette programming was the precursor to the current Monarch programming, but for an expert answer, Stewart Swerdlow would be the person to ask!

Naturally, the 'marionette' has its strings pulled by a handler - the perfect puppet/programming slave.  Many Monarchs find puppets and marionettes in their matrix when they are deprogramming - these are symbols of submissive, controllable alters.
