Let me introduce myself

I put off introducing myself because I tend to be shy of forums.  So many are very rude but I have been watching this one and everyone seems to treat each other with respect and caring.  I much appreciate that!

I'm a disabled librarian, hoping that I'll eventually be able to return to work.  My hobbies include ancient writings and researching various topics.  Currently I'm trying to match up a who's who of ancient gods, angels, fairies, and demons.

I've been happily married to my best friend for 38 years and have 2 grown daughters, both very lovely women and good friends.

I also enjoy healthy discussions with lots of give & take and new ideas to ponder!

Welcome aboard GetrudaRose, it looks like you’re a neighbor of mine being in Indiana. I know what you mean about there being a lot of rude people on a lot of other forums. I was on a lot of other forums before starting this one and ran into a lot of rude people too. So I started this one to get away from that. I’m glad you liked this forum and decided to join. I hope we're able to help with your research. You have full access now and I hope you enjoy your stay with us. :)

Welcome to the forum. I, also have been interested in the ancient gods and faeries (more those than angels & demons). I have a couple of encyclopedias on them, so if you ever want any info, just email me and I will be happy to help if I can. And, I also have grown daughters - only double what you have.
