I saw these pics in late March. Aside from  looking fake and seeming like something taken from Hollywood I wondered ??? However I noticed the chamber(window ) on the pyramid is dark. Wouldn't  something that emits that much intense  light also light up that chamber??

Then a while later I came across a guy on the net who was thinking along those same lines. I'll see if I  can find what he posted.

Found it...Here is the link.....http://ufo-tv.com/chichen-itza-pyramid-light-beam-hoax

FYI....Kulkulcan is the Mayan name for the Feathered Serpent God.

FWIW.. I think that beam looks like a hologram.

It looks like the comments on that site are mixed. The image has been studied in Mexico and Italy and there´s no proof so far that it is a fake.

They have a thread on ATS too and it pretty much looks the same way. People who think it's real against skeptics that think it's fake.

Jaime Maussan has a history of hoaxes ,which may be due to his own gullibility. He supposedly has the original full size pics  and what  is shown, publicly anyway ,are reduced cropped versions. It's simply a matter of producing the original uncropped/reduced pics for public scrutiny.

Here is a link to one of the hoaxes Maussan was involved in ,wittingly or unwittingly.

That's just a campfire light from some indigenous kid looking at a picture-book on mythology leftover from some library

It could be a hoax but so far there's no proof the photos are fake.
