Its not really cold enough here so i may have shorts on in winter. But i dont believe if it snowed i would have shorts on even tho i could win a leg contest..hahaha

I cant sleep in the buff, and i can sleep with clothes on or just undies, but mostly i want just undies on.... Too many things could go wrong... lol im being silly, like silly.....

Maybe some of the guys are in Bear mode during winter?

I am a walking furnace too.

Richard,

The mind pattern of wearing shorts in the winter is being exposed, with an underlying essence of vulnerability, and it is mostly young males, yet you will see females out at night in winter wearing hardly there dresses, this refers to ‘no protection’ a message of ‘I need to be taken care of’.

However this does not include ice hokey players or physical laboring work where the body gets hot and shorts or short shirts are all they need, and this also does not include people walking around their house like silly’s hubby, this shows he is comfortable in his home and feels protected by her presence, but people that need to be exposed in public; well that is a whole different story.

DT, you do not have a problem, it is equally divided with those who sleep naked and those who sleep covered, it is different patterns of thought.

Karen,

Thanks for the answer. I’m a curious type person and I like to understand different types of human behavior as much as possible. What you say makes sense about being exposed with an underlying essence of vulnerability. I’ve also seen females wearing hardly anything in the winter and the message of I need to be taken care makes sense too. You think the same message applies to people who go out shopping in their pajamas? We talked about the PJ thing before and you said it was people to lazy to change into clothes but I wondered if it is the same mind pattern of “I need to be taken care of”?

I don't see any men going around wearing shorts in the winter who have a vulnerable air about them.  :-)  And lots of them are husky, middle-aged men, not just young guys.  I am seeing a different expression in my experience.

I recall an article I read once about a guy who moved to Siberia because he was always so overheated.

I think you're right Karen. I hadn't looked at it that way before. Men despite their physical appearance ,feeling exposed and vulnerable. They mght never show it any other way.The over exposed women makes sense too.

Richard ,Perhaps the pajama people are saying "I'm sleep walking through life.":D

or "I don't want to wake up."

Polly,

The men you are talking about are husky middle age- are they laborers? Many men who work physically wear less clothing due to the heat that is produced in their bodies.

Richard,

The human body is a wonderful expression of what we are thinking and how we are feeling, you can tell so much by the clothes, the color, how they wear their hair, make up, the walk, how they talk, body language is a very interesting topic and we can not hide our true self.

Pajama fashion was first introduced by teens, who could not be bothered changing to go to the video shop, and now seems to be a bit of a fashion statement, the mind pattern is difficult because these people are following others lead, like sheep, but I would say that people that do this would have to be broken into categories, firstly to shock, the next to follow (sheep mentality), and the last would be they have something deep to hide, they want to be noticed, yet are fully covered and by loose clothing, so they are sub-consciously protecting their bodies, but in the picture you can see the young girl in the middle is not comfortable doing it, she is clutching that toy to protect her embarrassment, I could only say she has mummy issues!

It is like a woman who has a decent cleavage, she wears tops to expose this, yet gets offended when men look at her breasts, and so what does this tell you?
