My Dream In Australia
#1
Okay, you wanted more dreams...well here's one for you that I had a couple of days ago.

I was in Australia and I loved it! (This is the second dream I had where I was in Australia in the past month.) I guess I had gone to see a friend on the net we know.  My sister and a couple of my girls were there also.  The first thing I remember was waiting for the friend to come home and I began shopping for souvenirs.  My girls were showing me things to pick out.  Then I was in this friend’s house.  It was huge and had a lot of screened windows.  Suddenly he was home and we were waiting for some of his friend’s to stop by.  I guess he was trying to decide if he liked me or if he still liked his ex-girlfriend.  His friends finally came and they were all some kind of actors.  The girls were putting sparkle make-up on – they were fairies.  I remember them asking me if I liked it here and I said yes.  One of them said that the friend liked me.  The scene changed and it was nighttime.  I was outside looking up at the sky and remember remarking to this friend that I had never seen anything like that before.  There were so many stars out and it was beautiful – they were clustered all around.  The scene changed and we were walking outside.  There were all kinds of prehistoric creatures all around.  All of the creatures were so HUGE.  My friend said that all the things were big out here.  I remember being over a railroad trestle and a train came and squished one of the creatures.  The scene changed again, and I was standing on the back porch looking out the screen door – there was water all around.  I saw some people in a boat going after some kind of weird creatures in the water.  The creatures seemed half human, half fish.  The people were hunting them and putting them in the boat.  They saw me and started rowing towards the porch.  Something tried to break down the screen door (I don’t remember if it was one of those water creatures or a dog from the people).  I jumped back and heard the people ask who I was.  I told them I was a friend of the person who lived in this house, and they turned around, gathered their stuff and left.

Hi Dreamtime,

I do not interpret dreams the way others do here.  But one thing I cannot understand in reading yours and other peoples here is how 'scenes' in your dreams change so much and so often?  Most people I know including myself rarely have more than TWO scene changes in their dreams.  The reason I say 'most people I know' is that in my circles many come to me for my opinion on their dreams.  But I use the Traditional and Ancient Turkish method of interpreting that is also used by the Greeks and some Italians and Slavs.  But generally speaking, this method DOES NOT allow for so many scene changes in one's dream.  Reason probably been that this technique fundamentally states that if a dream is NOT one of the random meaningless ones, then it usually has only ONE main reason/meaning behind it.  So with so many scene changes, it cannot work in interpretting it, short of saying that your mind was simply working overtime during your sleep, or perhaps only one or two of the scence were valid/prophetical.  The part about being in the house and others making loud noises trying to get in I'd be weary of.  Someone seams to be out to do you harm.  Especially with the fact that you were surrounded by water.  Those 2 points are related and are encaging in a way.  Without knowing you better, I cannot comment anymore really, other than to say that you will get away with 'it' as they left the house peacefully after you spoke to them.  'Them' being whoever is out to do you harm.  IOW, they may not succeed in the end.  Taking some other factors into account that you mentioned, indications are that this dream-set you had is like a warning from your oversoul;  a warning to be careful with those you know may do you harm.  This of course has nothing to do with Stewart's way of interpretting dreams using alters and the like, but many I know can vouch for it's 'predicting' capabilities.  But it works best when the interpreter knows the subject/dreamer well as it helps him in patching things together more accuratly.

I have never had nor heard from others around me of them having more than 3, maximum 4(on the rarest of occasions) scene changes in their dreams.  Last time someone told me they had 4 scene changes was so many years ago that I've lost count.

Sorry I can't tell you more but I thought I'd mention how suprised I am to hear of many people here that have such dreams.

Hi you two,

I used to dream up to three or four scenes a night.  I also used to lucid dream with an unusually high retention (compared to now) in the wake state.  So I do not know if either are rare, but I can say the scenes, no matter how disconnected they may seem, share the same underlying theme.

My dreams have almost always been like that.  It may be because I wake and fall asleep so often every night and most times I go back into the same dream.  It may also be that I forget parts of the dream that would connect the scenes - I don't know.  My dreams are very detailed and seem to be very long - it almost seems like I am watching a movie - or many movies.  Sometimes I have so many dreams that I just can't seem to remember them all.

I have always said that my dream life is much more interesting than my waking life.

My dreams are very vivid and detailed as well.  I am no longer a lucid dreamer, but I have become so indulged, I wake up feeling like I was another person every morning.  There's also this high feeling one gets from accessing the angelic frequency.  It's a very strange sensation to wake up with, but it makes me want to return to the dream world.

Hi AS8,

I know what you mean.  Most times I hate to wake up also, preferring to stay in my "dream world."

Hi there Dream Time.Your Dream is subtle and very interesting indeed. The sounvenirs represent elements of yourself that you like.Your daughter picking them out is the child self of you choosing those elements of yourself to feel good about who you are.Your friends hose represents your need to feel welcomed and the screen windows mean you wish to have access to the world but with alot of privacy so you are a filtered perception of this Physical Reality.Your friend represents you liking yourself and loving yourself and him deciding whether he liked his old girlfriends represents you liking who you are and then disliking who you are and wishing you were someone else instead because of your Programming issues. His friends behaving like actors all represent the fakeness you sense in this world and the plastic nature within yourself and others because of the need to create an artificial conformity in the Western World.Fairies are Astral Entities and the sparkle make up means you are wnating to change your visual outlook in how other people perceive you. Also Fairies are about escaping from this world as you feel sometimes a little unhappy with the world around you as we all do at times. The night time is about concealment and also peacefulness and the stars represent openess, exploration and spiritual development.Depending on whether the prehistoric creatures you saw were Megafauna or Dinosaurs also depends on the symbols involved. For Megafauna it is connected with ancient Mammal DNA issues of old life energy and previous Incarnations and if it was with Dinosaurs it is an issue with Reptile DNA and these ancient connections you have to them that seem huge and frightening. As all these creatures are supposed to be extinct [which they are not] it also represents the need to remember that which is fossilized and buried deep, deep within your Subconscious Mind. The train and railroad represent direct action and direct behaviour from you on this issue. The fishermen represent you 'fishing' in your Subconscious Mind and coming up with unusual forms of Programming represented by these 'creatures'.When they all left it represents you leaving the delving into your Mind alone for a while.I hope my Dream Analysis of your Dream has helped. Take care Dream Time.

Thank you for your reply, Avatar.  It was very insightful and reading it gave me the chills.  I guess some of the stuff you said must have hit home.

I did find though, that in that dream and the other dream I had about being in Australia, I really loved it there and didn't want to leave.  It was almost like I felt at home there even though I have never been to Australia.

Hi there Dream Time.Australia as a place for you represents your need to love your surroundings here on Earth as well as grounding yourself in ancient Australia as a symbol of being connected to mysterious and powerful landmasses that of course are matriarchal and feminine in nature.I know you have mentioned that you feel like you wish you were living on another planet or far from Earth.Take care.

Some people may dream up to 20, 30, even 40 dreams in a night.  And even with just dreaming 4 or 5 dreams in one night you might mix and mingle each of those dreams together.

So i ask again if there is something we should be doing with our dreams?

Through dreaming we can perceive other worlds, which we can certainly describe, but we can't describe what makes us perceive them. Yet we can feel how dreaming opens up those other realms. Dreaming seems to be a sensation--a process in our bodies, an awareness in our minds.
