Can a song from the harddrive be uploaded to the profile?

I think so but I don't know how to do it.

Depends on the type of profile I think.  If you have a music profile no problem, but otherwise, if you have a regular page, you may need to create an additional profile (music), load up the song, and then add it to your other profile.... :)

Yeah, SilverInfinity told me how. Just create a page from a free host, like anglefire/geocities, upload the song, then link it over to the myspace.
