A friend shared this website with me today and I came across this particular page that places the ET/UFO phenomena into 9 categories.  I'm particularly interested in the 9th one:   the Gnostic ET/Archon theory.

"This theory relies on the most solid and complete textual evidence from antiquity: the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi Codices. It assumes that Gnostic teachers in the Pagan Mystery Schools were accomplished shamans who used paranormal powers such as remote viewing to detect aliens, as well techniques of psychic self-defence, to resist and repel them. About one-fifth of the surviving Gnostic materials are concerned with the ET/Archons, their motives, methods, appearances, tactics, etc. Their most accomplished power is said to be HAL, "simulation, substitution," i.e., virtual reality. Kerner assumes that Archons have deeply penetrated our genetic makeup, but Gnostic writings support the view that they have only duped us into believing this is so, whereas they are in reality incapable of reaching or breaching the genomic intelligence we embody. Their victory lies in make-believe, getting us to act out what they pretend to be doing to us. Their work through insinuation."
I've just touched upon the subject, but anyone who has more insight, please chime in.

Yes it does, however, this category #9 listed in the first link of my initial post was discovered in 1945 predates the Christian era by several hundreds of yrs..:

back in the day, when there was no "media" and people lived outside, or IN the world- as part of it, hearing voices in your head was a big, big deal.

now it happens all the time and we are desensitised- the tv, radio, cell phone, and wireless internet signals are penetraring our heads all day every day, and we live inside alectrically charged boxes- like anti-faraday cages.

today, our heads are so full of bullshit we can't tell what's us, what's a demon, or an archon, or our parents.

I was saying that ALL of this is the same thing, and the reason for differing versions is our own confusion, is all.
