Outlander 2008: Alien/Viking Propaganda

I found an interesting film called Outlander.

It's about some guy's spaceship crashlanded on earth during the vikings time, and an alien predator followed him. So he allied with the vikings, combining his technology (you gotta watch it), and viking's iron age swords to beat the alien predator. Strange plot, but enjoyable and good special effects.

I liked this movie:) But I was a bit startled at the eating scenes.

I wonder if there is records of visits from space in the viking lores. They mentioned fighting goblins. Or something called "jotuns". Was it reptilians? I have been wondering about this.
