The video images depicting a United States Marine abusing a puppy are disturbing and contrary to the high standards we expect of every Marine.

This matter is currently under investigation to confirm the authenticity of the video and the persons responsible for the video. Upon completion of the investigation, it will be reviewed by each Marine’s commander who will determine the appropriate action to take in each case.

In the event that any Marine is charged with an offense, he will be afforded the constitutional and due process protections guaranteed by the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

This is often the question when you are very aware of what is going on sily, I would agree that it is for public reaction but also to change laws and give more power to law enforcing agencies and the government. This is the number one reason most things are published – just to provide some standing ground for the control of change.

Yes, I just feel like something is up with this whole incident other than what appears to be obvious. 

Also, if people leave messages at Marine Corps Base Hawaii like they have on the internet, meaning many, many death threats  -  maybe they can track those people down even if they are using proxies as IP addresses.... and charge them with threatening to kill someone.

i heard that the puppy was already dead and that someone had rigged the sound on the video to make it sound like it was alive...but i havent actually seen the video so i dont know...
its pretty sick though anyway, whether it was a conspiracy or not

I have not seen the video but I am sure I would also choose not too! I agree that there could be many reasons for this, sily it could be for the purpose to inject negative thought patterns to ‘soldiers, army and/or war’ because most of the world want this war to end, the majority see it for what it really is, even the people who do not know anything about the agenda know it is not about creating democracy or saving lives, a little negative thinking can go a long way.

I just wanted to update this thread.

The Marines have finished their investigation of the puppy video and Lance Cpl. David Motari is now being "processed for separation" from the Marines.  A second Marine, San Diego-based Sgt. Crismarvin Banez Encarnacion, received non-judicial punishment as well.

The video was *real*, real enough that that puppy suffered at the hands of Motari.

In a statement, the Humane Society of the United States applauded the actions.
"The bad actors in this case have been dealt with by the Marine Corps,[color="navy"] which rightly recognizes that harming animals is unacceptable conduct[/color]," said Dale Bartlett, the group's deputy manager for animal cruelty issues. "Now, the Department of Defense and the Congress must step up protection from cruelty for all animals under the law governing military conduct.
