Shadow Ghosts

I did not notice that we posted at those times, pretty cool. :)

Shadow ghosts are manifestations which appear to be human in form, however, they're completely nondescript. Meaning, you can't see facial features etc. It's just like seeing a persons shadow, hence the name.

in my 12 years of ghost hunting I've seen only 1 or 2 of them plainly, but when I do, they always get me very excited. And yes, it can be kinda scary :)

Ahh, a shadow ghost type I have seen a few times. First time, it was a figure around 20 yards away, just watching as we prepared the moon circle. The regular full moon gathering drew all kinds of weird beings, both corporeal and non.
Another I saw was a being that was literally riding someone at a drum circle in Florida. It was disturbing for sure.
I've also seen the kind that are non-humanoid blobs and like to cling to ceilings, and then come down and mess with people while they're sleeping, giving them terrible nightmares and draining their energy. Those I despise and found that I could scare them off with a burst of positive energy.
Yeah, I was the kid digging up the occult books in the elementary school library and trying to catch ghosts. There were books in that library that did not belong in the hands of grade schoolers!

That happened to me before! I'm surprised that you even know about these creatures. I thought I was just imagining things because I haven't heard of them from ghost websites.

It was a blob of energy that clung onto my ceiling and sometimes it floated around me. Usually it was black but when it had more energy, appeared as green or blue. In the end, it always collided into me, giving me a very huge electrical jolt :(

A psychic friend told me that negative entities usually followed me around and one of them was very powerful. That wasn't good news especially, when my house was haunted (it still is). I imagine more than one spirit haunted it.

I think they can be banished with a good focus, even the powerful one is small fry to a Hyperspace Warrior :) and is only powerful from the energy it stole from you!
I usually forget to do any settling of energy and shielding before sleep. It doesn't take much to do it, and the result is the opportunity for neutral space and dreamwork, lucidity, and all that fun stuff. I think it is the unsettled mental/psychic energy that they feed off, and because they are negative, they promote nightmares - which generates more energy for them, fitful sleep is what they like best.
What works for me (when I remember) is to use something called the Double Yin shield, which comes from the Bodhisattva, Kuan Yin. By surrounding oneself in the endlessly yielding, limitless Compassion, any force that comes against it encounters infinite slack. It is like trying to punch a sheet hanging out to dry. It is like water. The Compassion of the Bodhisattva easily sends these creatures where they can get the sustenance they crave until they can transform/evolve without troubling other beings. It protects throughout your dream journeys as well, its really the nuts.

I'd like to hear more about that if you wouldnt mind?

I've found that like attracts like here too and if I am down low or angry etc I do tend to get some of these negative spirits.

Mostly I can keep my energy high enough to keep them away now but I would love to hear of your technique as I could give it to some of my clients too?

Ok, Trinity. I have been sitting here writing for a bit, trying not to get too anecdotal about the whole thing, but at this point I think I am just going to spew and hope it makes sense later.
I think it begins with contemplating on the Compassion of the Bodhisattva, I suppose other archetypes of compassion takes one to the same feeling. By feeling compassion within ourselves, we can also feel that sort of watery mesmerizing wave of it that is the Compassion, it is almost overwhelming, warm, giddy sometimes, and that's what you sort of cocoon yourself in, or a room, or a house even, I don't think I ever made one as big as a house. Last night though, I matched it to the size of the room. Now the Double Yin Concept, though, this is more a Kuan Yin transmission - it is called Double Yin because it gives in both directions, and this is also the key. It protects you from all other beings - and - it also protects them from you - that is the part of it I had almost forgotten that is really the key to it working.
Once you've really got the Compassion groove in your heart and the Double Yin concept working, then you make your bubble. It gives endlessly. It can really enrage and frustrate a being that is trying to get at you, which can create some scary moments, but the Double Yin shield never let me down.
The energy-sucker bugs can't get on you when you're sleeping, and are generally repelled, and you can zap them with it too. I do think the Double Yin shield makes lucid dreaming more likely to occur, particularly if it is sought after. It got to be too much for me for quite a while.
If you find this technique to be as useful as I have, then I am grateful.
I see that you joined this forum June 21st, happy solstice.

Thank you that sounds pretty amazing. I seem to be getting more of the energy suckers. I'll have to do some research on this. Thanks!

His technique works well (Thank you, man). I used his method for a second layer shield over another protection technique called the rotating rainbow protection (which had white light enveloped me and rainbow colors rotating fast around the perimeters to prevent energy lurkers from latching on). My nightmares went from few to zinch.

The rotating rainbow protection is a technique from my friend who used to be attacked on a constant basis. This is her website: http://www.mindtoolsgraphics.com/LoreRainbow

Or you could try the Christian way that works as well (online discussions):
"Devil, I rebuke [thee] in the name of Jesus Christ, be gone from here as this is a house of Christ and you have no control over me, release both of us now and be gone in Jesus name I command you"

I just want to give you some tools to try out.

These could very well be the traditional ghost, or shadow ghost which is more applicable to the conversation, or even a lower form of energy from another realm which feeds off the life force of the living.

I have to disagree with "scare off" though. It's my experience that the lower energy forms leave after they get the energy from your afore mentioned "burst" because thats what they were after in the first place.

I'll "restart" this with my idea of what shadow ghosts are, from a copy/paste to save a little time ;)
