Do you think it's possible or likely that the hidden powers or secret government use these types of technology?

I also want to add that although firearms are powerful, they're pardoned by the underground.

A gunshot is very, very loud. Silencers are crap and ineffective. A silencer only makes a gunpop sound like a lower caliber shot. You need offworld tech, and inaccessible materials to make a literal silencer. There is no such thing as a silencer as far as what money can buy.

There are lots more reason why guns suck. And that's why you can have them, and why alien entities don't use them.

Just cause someone holds a governmental position, high law enforcement, or even NWO, doesn't mean alien weaponry is at their disposal.

Very small energy weapons. Things that fit into your pocket, or on a belt.

Things that flash a body into vapor/ash.

The acquisition of alien/space defense comes at a very [color="#ffff00"][size="4"]VERY[/size][/color] high price. Space entities don't need your payroll. They want other things. You'll likely be let down in the negotiation, or seal the deal by fluke of nature.

There are lots of dead scientific and military personnel who were in collusion with research projects involving reverse-engineering.
