Spiced Snacks Are Excellent In Grounding
#1
Personally, at least. They do bring me back to the here & now. I'm sure spices never shift the auric field to brown.. but I think it'd be a great addition to the list of grounding foods [Meat, chocolate & associated cakes]. Furthermore, I dislike chocolates and such

I think this could be a programming or anger issue as the good balancing feeling will keep you as well as encourage you to be in certain alters. Or it could also be an honest mistake.

Do you have redhair? Everyone has a degree of redhair. It has the energetics for extracting strength from anger in a stable way. For some, anger can be a very good source of strength. As strength also comes from grounding and stability, perhaps you have mistaken the feeling of stability or solidity in strength that comes from consuming spicy food which feeds upon the sub-personalities anger and sexuality.

Someone on Expansions posted me tips on how to ground. I don't remember this person's name. But I hope s/he does not mind that I posted them here:

Quote:My suggestions to help you get and stay grounded would be attention to your physical body.

1. EAT PROTEIN FROM ANIMAL SOURCES, BREAKFAST, LUNCH & DINNER.

2. REGULAR PHYSICAL EXERCISE, SOMETHING YOU ENJOY AND INCLUDING WALKS OUT IN NATURE, ESP. AT THE SEASIDE IF YOU HAVE ACCESS.

3. SOME KIND OF HEALING BODYWORK/MASSAGE ON REGULAR BASIS.

And don't forget to breeeeaaaaathhhhh--hope this helps, take care

Quote:There may be several other sources of your feeling of ungroundedness. I will give you a list of things to avoid completely. I do not anticipate you need reply, it is for your information only. The following compounds will affect your brain chemistry and make grounding and balancing difficult: Artificial sweeteners - aspartame is the worst (an excitotoxin), but none is good for you. Stevia IS good. Fluoride - in water, toothpaste, mouthwash, anywhere. It poisons the pineal gland specifically. That's why it's there. Aluminum containing products: aluminum cookware-bad idea. Antiperspirants virtually all have aluminum. Deodorants may not. Aluminum causes fibrillar degeneration of the cortex. MSG and all related (usually hidden with a sneaky name like 'hydrolysed plant protein') 'flavouring' compounds. They are excitotoxins in the brain and alter brain chemstry - and not for the better. Any new mercury fillings in the mouth are to be avoided. Damaged old ones should be replaced with a non-amalgam type (by someone who knows how to do this without giving you acute mercury poisoning!) Those are the biggies. If anything there sent up a red flag for you, that may be part of the problem with grounding and balancing. The Doctor is In.

I also want to add: Breathe correctly, walk on the soil with bare feet at your free time, drink distilled water at every opportunity, and wear more brown (inner garment works). You also want to be on top of the news as that helps you connect with the here and now collective consciousness. Global events and celebrity gossips. (Try not to be triggered. Thanks to Purpleparrot for the last tip).

Hi y'all,

I have had a lot of success with salt water baths.  Salt water provides an immediate relief. It helps to visualize yourself releasing whatever you need to into the "liquid medium" and on down the Violet drainpipe!  I like bubbles too, but they are completely optional....   :big grin:

As for foods that ground, I find Vietnamese chili garlic sauce to be very effective and it is really great on sauteed chicken.  It warms up the body nicely and grounds quickly as well.  Just add it add to your taste when the chicken is cooked through and then heat up the sauce a bit; about a minute or so.  Serve with rice and a refreshing green salad.

Food is one of my favorite subjects, lol...

Is there a food thread here??

Do you have redhair?

I agree how the balancing effects are resultant of one's concept of well-being.

I'm actually most comfortable[balanced] in the cold. I live in Texas, a desert state, but the technology all around myself keeps everything cold as I'm relishing the scenery :smirk: Anyway, spiced food is something I've only recently gotten into.. so I just made the observation that it's hard to stay irritable while chewing this stuff

My hair is wavy black with an occasional blonde or red hair, as my father is blonde haired/blue eyed

I'll add that all dairy products instill a dense grounding

Can you imagine extreme activity after injesting ice cream, cottage cheese, or a milkshake?

Also, some folks even fall asleep from mixing excessive portions of milk to their coffee
