I never went to raves but it reminds me of the scenes from raves where they have DJs on this raised stage, plus they have pulsating lights and whatnot. They also regarded the DJ as a Leader as he dictates the tunes.. remembering the footage they all look like they are worshipping him.
Refering to living forever and diamonds, when you are young you feel like you can live forever and you are indestructible ..especially when you are dancing to music you can forget about the evils of the world. When it finishes though, you are back in reality.
Thats my take on it straight up but you are right there seems to be a hidden message in there.
Here's one that struck me this week while listening to the radio whilst driving especially the lyics
"And I am a weapon of massive consumption
and its not my fault it's how I'm program to function"
Can Lily Allen be aware of her programming? Though I'd say she is referring to the programming that is the media and advertising.

Wow, as synchronicity would have it I glimpsed part of that video the other day... very interesting.
The lyrics I posted were more of an afterthought. The main reason I posted this thread was the portal in the music video! I've noticed so many of these "stargates" wanted to see what other people think about them.
This is how I read that verse:
Can you imagine when this race is run,(the death of the old world and birth of the new)
Turning up our faces into the sun,(being illuminated)
Praising our leaders getting in tune,(praising the illuminists, plugging in to their frequency)
Music's played by the mad man(self expression is madness)
The line in that Lily Allen song "Now everything is cool as long as I'm getting thinner" really bothers me. Barbie dolls from 1960 on have become thinner and thinner. And GI Joes from 1960 on have become more muscular. What we are left with today is an extreme unrealistic body image leaving children of both sexes feeling ugly and inadequate. And parents wonder why their girls are anorexic or their boys take steroids.
Anyway, I'm interested to see more "stargate" references here. I've noticed these a lot lately, and I'm sure they are significant. Feel free to post other lyrics though. Music is full of double meanings, ritual, numerology, embeds, subliminal commands, etc.

Zodd42, the lyrics you posted are targeted at the young ecstasy takers, the lyrics and music merge with the frequency of when you are high on this drug, and it creates holes in your Auric field, this artist is known for their workââ¬Â¦
Askilla, the first time I heard this song, those words stood out, and the last words really sum it all up, and it actually reminds me of the Simpsons, it is the truth shoved in your face, but um doh, you just donââ¬â¢t get itââ¬Â¦..very good topic especially for the younger generations..
