Stewart Swerdlow Ruined My Summer Vacation!
#1
Ok, it might be more accurately titled, 'I changed my summer plans because of something Stewart Swerdow said on his website'.  And it's true.  I had this amazing job lined up at this amazing remote resort, run by really cool down to earth organic type people in the middle of a canadian tropical jungle on a lake and 10 mins from the ocean, just north west of Vancouver.  They had a damn bird sanctuary on this place.  I spent a month trying to get a job there, finally it came through and my plans were set in stone, i was heading west for an adventure i would not soon forget.  I even had these really cool down to earth hot hippy women i met on the net and was going to meet in person once I arrived.  First though, I had to tie up some loose ends in Banff Alberta.  I'm in banff at the hostel using the internet and i'm surfing expansions.com questions and answers, bam bam bam a barrage of Canadians worried about the west coast, Stew repeatedly say's 'the west coast is doomed, don't go there, get out now, run for the hills!'  So right there and then in a matter of seconds i say to myself 'screw it, i aint going, not worth the risk' and I never did go.....

Well it's August now and I just talked to a buddy over there and I asked him if any doom came his way and he giggled and said 'i just finished swimming under a waterfall, while hiking through a rainforest while birdwatching and picking fruit!, all is good in paradise'

I can't help but feel Stewart Swerdlow had some small part in ruining my summer vacation!

Things might happen one day.  But Its yourself you should learn to listen to!  There is doom everywhere if you want it to be.  Just crossing the street could be your doom.  But ultimately you should learn to listen to yourself and then learn to listen on when to leave if it will not suite you anymore!

But who knows, maybe it would of turned out very bad for you if you had went.  ???

ShadowRunner, I agree with William. Listen to you.Practice discernment , do your own research and practice even more discernment. Your life is too valuable to toy with.Did your Mom ever say "If your friends all jump off  a cliff does that mean you will too?" Or something along that line

Also it may be a good idea for you to investigate what your appetite is in each of your chakras in order to gain some control of them .

With all due respect Runner, you listened to him... what does that make you?

If he told you to jump off the GoldenGate, would you?  He's made many so called predictions that have never seen the day of light.  How anyone can sit and take this fool seriously is beyond comprehension.

Hhe tries to damage good peoples reputations with lies, he claims to be of open mind when in fact he lives in tunnel vision... and some actually believe he's something special when all he is is a rip-off merchant.  Look at his site, there's more self advertising on buying his products and services than there is anything else.  Why can't others see this??  He is not far different than those he supposedly oposses within the Capitalistic system.

Now you're pissed as to why a piece of Canada didn't explode as he said it would???

Whatever...:discust:

Shadowrunner,
There are many stories of people who won a ticket to a resort only to meet their death, or people that missed the airplane who did not met their death when it crashed! I understand that you are furious and I would be too, but this is a great lesson for you to cruise through your life without having fear being put into, at any moment a meteorite could hit the earth and we could all die, you could be hit by a car or have a heart attack, the possibilities are endless.
I have had many experiences where I have been held up and become angry about it, only to see that the consequences of my timing was my own guidance holding me up to a disastrous situation.
Throwing blame is easy, and takes away the responsibility of not believing in yourself, anything could have happened or alternatively you could have had a summer of exceptional memories from that holiday.
If you accept that you can do nothing about this, and move on, it is the past, you can not turn back time and redo it, but you can look to tomorrow, to the future, summer may be closing in the north, but in the south it is the reverse, why not look into some island resorts up in Queensland Australia, they often hire people from other countries for the influx of worldly visitors, and there are never ending waterfalls, marine life, summer activities and back packers and not to mention all the girls you will meet on your adventure.
It is said that the north coast of Australia will be swallowed up with a tsunami; will this stop you wanting to live life to the fullest? Or the fact that the jelly fish kill many tourists, or what about the crocodiles?
When your gut gives you a red light, stop, think about the situation, but otherwise most of the fear put into society is for the agenda, fear is part of religion and a great crowd controller.
It is imperative to put it behind you, not to hold on to grudges or negativity, so that your energy can flow clearly without baggage.

damn dude! if you follow Stewart's philosophies and all that that entails, then you should know better than to blame someone else for a decision that YOU made. YOU alone are responisble for that decision, YOU alone chose to act on something someone told you. YOU alone chose to bELive that if you go there, it won't be a pleasant experience.

i have a friend who lives in california and my brother was in vancouver for a while to snowboard last winter.. they're both fine. circumstances have lead them both to currently reside in other areas, more so towards to middle. regardless its far from that area, and i'm happy they're somewhere that most likely will NOT get hit by earthquakes and what not.

weather or not you may or may not choose to believe what Stewart's predictions entail, there's always science and logic. there ARE tectonic plates rubbing against each other just waiting to shift right underneath that whole california coast. anyway, who's to say the sun won't blowup any second now, becuase it too is a star and needs to burn out one day. who says some scientist fucks from another country don't unleash a mass chemical weapon that will kill thousands of beings human, animal, plant, etc. who's knows. hell, i was sitting in florida in the middle of Katrina, and i'm alieve. results? well lets see, the experiences i had there were most likely triggered by all that mass digusting ELF which i wasn't paying attention to at the time [nor was i as sensitive to it as i am now] at all, as a result i ended up hurting my self and someone else in the process. all because lack of awareness of what is going on in the world, in my brain, in my life, etc.

anyway, i hope that wasn't too harsh, and more helpful. take care

I'm very tempted here to write what I have to. Its true and I agree with everyone here on what they wrote-we are responsible for everything in our lives whether we understand it or not..we are responsible for the choices we make whether its under the influence of judgment or opinion or mere suggestion of another. we are responsible for what we decided, why we chose to follow that advice and how we chose to execute that action. its so easy to blame others. i am not exempt from partially blaming people for things in my life..i do know its my responsibility here and i do know i have to work it out within myself. i ideally would love to be able to talk to people with any issues i have within them and with myself when dealing with them and I think that is now one method of subsiding the blame i wanted to displace on another who isn't responsible for my souls actions or thoughts. its easy to be angry with the person we spoke about but ultimately we were upset with ourselves and we'll realize that and also take the positive side of it, where did it take us and how are we living now? in reference to the persons discontent on the possible happy events they missed out on,why is everything always external to us..the happiness is not somewhere else..its within. the external world is fleeting and changing, we--our souls(not the personality) are everlasting. so you can go on vacation or do all those things whereever you go.
and yes i totally agree, i am trying to sort out my life in my own way, i'm learning in my own way, i'm trying to clear up things and trying to understand myself and my place here aside from a world i dont understand...and right now i dont want to be influenced by someone who teaches things i never saw and no longer believe in.
i have not seen a reptilian being, and i haven't seen a demise in the way the world is going yet and i want to believe in something better(yes isn't it naive of me to want something better yet to know its within me, not external to me?). perhaps maybe out of destruction, something constructive or awesome and beneficial can happen. and i know i can make things happen for my egos desire--despite all truths and nay sayers and soothesayers--i can make things happen if its with pure intent. our truths are within us..are applied for the right time and for a reason. and perhaps that was the lesson..he said something...but did your soul say do it..did every part of you say go for it...you need toknow your inner guidance in a world thats always changing.
