I talked about the global group with Stewart at Janet’s party but it was a short conversation and I didn’t get a full idea how there are going to do things. Hopefully they’ll more info on the site soon. :)

  Is it me or is the Audio on that video for global mens group way distorted.....  Not cutting anyone down with the recording but i would love to help them correct the problem....  too bad im so far awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.    If they are using an external mic i would slap a compressor - gate on it.    But to me they have the in coming recording audio level set way tooo loud, thats why its distorting.   I could take the file as it is and probably fix it some though even after its recorded.

I thought the sound was distorted too. I don’t know what the deal with that is. Their new mike sounds worse than the old one. I mentioned it Robert at Janet’s birthday but everyone was talking so much that we never really got to discuss it. Hopefully they’ll get the problem solved soon. :)

As far as I know, they haven’t had a group yet. I remember Stewart saying they were going to have a special forum for the men’s and women’s groups. It may be taking them awhile to get everything setup. I remember in his video he was asking members to write in with their ideas. Stewart may be waiting to see what the responses are from the members first.

FYI - Stewart and Janet are considering a forum for "Support Groups", but it has not been decided how useful that would be - I know they would love to hear from people with ideas and suggestions.  BTW-These new forums would most likely be open to the General Public with Guest registration.

Global Men's Group - Stewart is indeed waiting to hear from other Men, around the 'globe' who are interested in such a concept.  How it will work remains to be decided, so suggestions are welcome.  As for the time difference, it may work that some would submit emails that would be topics for discussion during the "live" session and then they could review the group activity when it is more conveinent for them.

Now, as far as the sound on the videos - The videos in general need a lot of work, and that is being addressed.  Expansions has recently aquired new hardware and software to help produce a higher quality video experience.  Please bear with us as we put all of this new technology in place and work out the kinks.  The results should be better quality and more frequent videos, audio only option and all videos will most likely be, once again, in Flash format for easy viewing by all.  Research is also being done on a streaming server, but the cost may be prohibitive. 

I would like to encourage everyone to provide their feedback to Expansions, using the forums, in particular the Web Shows forums.

I think it is a great idea to go for this Global Mens Group. Probably there will be some technical issues to be resolved, but nothing is impossible.

Interested in the Global Men's Group?  Technical aspects aside (we will address them as necessary), you all need to let Stewart know, directly, through the Expansions forums that you are interested!  No interest, no wasting time to create something that is not necessary.  Saying you will wait to see how it develops doesn't work either, because if there is not an overwhelming interest, it is not likely to happen.

Stewart and Janet are besieged with requests and "ideas", and they have to be prioritized and researched.  If you wait for it long enough maybe, but if you express your interest and participate, well you might see something happen sooner, up to you.

Personally, I am not inclined to develop a process that I am not sure will be used, there is just so much else to do.  It takes time and money for these things to happen, and to create something first, without interest and support is a very risky affair. 

So please, speak up, chime in and if interested, express your interest to Stewart.
