.... well, that sheds a different light on that side, isn't it... The place just looks too polished.
Why isn't this widely known, I'm wondering, and where do those pictures from 1954 come from.

I believe we have had a thread on this before somewhere.  And in that thread we discussed how stonehenge was restored.  Just going by memory.  But this page makes it seem like it was built on 1954.  What is the truth?

This might be it. The article mentions that many restorations (if not the complete construction of Stonehenge) were accomplished over the 1900s. The truth of this is kept elusive known by archaeologists under "hidden archaeology" - keeping them stone silent accomplices.

I remember that article about it being restored but these photos look like they completely built it not restored it.

I betcha anything "the restoration" cover story was what was/is allowed to leak out. Of course people would understand a restoration.

But in actuality...the damn thing was just a mount of grass to begin with! - l o l     rofl.  The pamphlets and plaques would mention restoration should anyone stumble upon photos.

Did you catch the ceremonies, rituals, blessings?   It's build on a ley line no doubt and they weren't hiding the project it seemed like at the time.

I'd like to hear from anyone that was out there in 1953 or earlier and see if they say nothing was there before.

This has got to be THE EASIEST misconception of all to clear up. Then, once some still living old timers want to come forward to spray it around the internet - no brainer. It's hardly a mystery - more like the focus SHOULD be on the DECEPTION itself.
