Most of Florida's sugar cane crops have been destroyed by Hurricane Wilma. This will mean products that use sugar cane will skyrocket in price this winter along with fuel. The U.S. economy is in grave danger.
[/b] I wonder if this has any connection with the fact that sugar was excluded from the US-Australia free trade agreement much to the chagrin of N. Queensland farmers. I wonder if there are now those in the US who regret the position they took regarding sugar in the US-Australia free trade agreement.
