Television and the Hive Mind
#11
How can I say this?  No one here knows what I have been dealing with internally for the last few years from a deprogramming perspective and there was no one to compare notes with so what I write may not make sense to anyone.

This is why the reptilian core is so very vulnerable and why it is so buried.  It is not able to reason, only react.  It can be imprinted with all sorts of stuff and has no means to protect itself when accessed or exposed. This explains, for me anyway, the feeling that I could not pull enough buffering mechanisms around my core to protect it from other people, from further manipulation and from life.  My core is not subconscious but is a part of my conscious awareness.  This represents a whole set of difficulties which now make more sense to me after reading this article.  I used to think repeatedly that it is not a good idea to be walking around this planet with an exposed core.

This is one of my favorite subjects.I have so much to say that I don't know where to start.

Polly, How will this realization and understanding change things for you?

I have no idea what it might change, if anything at all, but it did give me a better grasp on certain issues concerning where I am with my internal experiences.  There are many instances in which I have a difficult time controlling what my reptilian brain is reacting to, and this is conscious not subconscious as it is with many people, and my higher mind is in for a real struggle.

Polly Wrote:Not just television programming, Octahedron!  It was the not being able to distinguish between real vs. not real part that caught my attention.  I am thinking along the lines of the reptilian core and specific programming and dilemma's I have come across which may be impossible to explain to anyone else, but the quote I excerpted gave me something to contemplate.
Yes, very very true.

Esp. when famous icons are on TV; they become holy to the audience; they (the programmed people) will worship TV-fabrications.
