The Descent By Jeff Long
#1
Has anyone ever read this book its absolutely great, It gave me some ideas though like older than old, the being that passes his sentience from person to person, through perception do you think its possible that a reincarnate could be reminded of who he once was by the people that knew him before?

No, Diajin, I haven't read that book. But as to the other question you asked, I don't see why a 'reincarnate' couldn't be reminded of who he once was by people or things around him. I have heard quite a few stories about children who suddenly start speaking other languages or know about people and places that they have never been to before. I even remember one story about a child who told her mother that she was once (someone) and lived in a certain town and died there. When her mother checked it out, it was all there, just like the child had told her.

I just wish that I had some first-hand experience so that I could prove it to myself. The closest I can come is that I had 'flashes' of 'past' lives in Egypt and as an American Indian, and for all my (present) life, I have been fascinated (near the point of obsession) with these two groups of people.
