I think, there are people who they don't want to kill, because they can pull out information from them; that's important esp. in case of programmed people; the Illuminati don't destroy their valuable assets.

They kill people who are a threat to them. Phil was a threat. Just like they killed John, Robert, and John Jr. Kennedy because they were a threat. Nixon had John Lennon killed because he was a threat. I could go on and on about all the people who have been killed because they were a threat.

 This is true. If you are considered a threat or don't cooperate and they can't get to you for a particular reason  they make your life extremely difficult if not impossible .

Yes, I've read about the quartz underground; there was a connection with Lyrae also, if I do recollect well.

Other things with Michigan were all those Viking histories, stories, speculations etc.

And there is documentation about Mayas, Phoenicians, Vikings visiting Michigan for exploring copper and other metals.

So, we maybe have an interesting combination as a new reason for Michigan:
