The Law of Choice
#1
We have not talked about the universal laws for awhile and as we near the end of another year, I just thought it would be nice to reflect on this year so far, and also one of the universal laws that have personally challenged me for most of 2008 –

The Law of Choices.

Each law intertwines with another and another; together they make a pattern of energy that is an artistic masterpiece of life.

The law of choice basically governs free will, yet it is very closely related to the law of responsibility. Each day you interact in the law of choice, from what you eat, what you wear, your job and how you basically fill in your day and your overall attitude to life. Circumstances can restrict choice, or we are presented with situations with no choice, or you may feel as if choices are made for you. Your childhood restricts your ability with the law of choice because you are governed by your parents, yet as an adult you choose to take responsibility for those choices!

The basic principle of the law of choice is whether to expand or contract with your circumstances/limitations, yes another choice; however, the responsibility is yours alone of how you ‘respond’ to these limitations/circumstances. This is the affect of the cause, the reaction of the action, and IF we accept responsibility for the choices we have made, we obtain a sense of clarity rather than just wallowing through each day structuring a cycle of unchanged energy.

The law of cycles can often overrule the law of choice, because you may be in a cycle of not having control of your choices, or you may lack the confidence to make choices for fear of making the wrong ones; there are no wrong choices. The energy that you continually produce while in such a cycle is obstruction of expression. Expressive energy is emotional and demands release or it will build up within your life force and manifest to physical deterioration of body, mind and spirit.

We never loose the power to ‘respond’ it may get a little lost through our limited circumstances, but it is always there. If you stand today with insufficient finances, limited choices, grief or sickness, you are not alone, there are millions just like you, and others that are far less fortunate. It is important to begin with what you do have and not with what you don’t; do you have a bed, food, family or friends, no matter how limited all these are, do you have them? If you can answer yes to any of these, then you have something that you can build on. We begin that negative cycle by convincing ourselves we have nothing, we are nothing.

What do you want from life? That is the most important question you should ask yourself, “not sure, to be happy, rich” how can you receive if you do not know what you want? You don’t need a ten year plan, you just need a start, a thought and keep it real, don’t set yourself up for failure or an unrealistic goal, if you are unhappy with your job, what skills do you have now and how can you increase them to get a better job? You have to mentally and physically put in the hard work; there is no magic fairy to grant you a wish! The universal force will always respond as long as your intention is specific, mixed requests equals mixed response. Focus on what you have been though to reach today; you might not even realize how strong you really are, because you may have never reflected or analyzed the mountains you have already climbed!

It is your choice!

Most people do not see the abundance of choices available to them.
Unfortunately, when you are not aware that you have many choices you often come from a place of scarcity and as a result you make bad choices and attract more scarcity to you. Believing you have few choices is the fastest route to mediocrity and unhappiness.
The greatest habit you can ever form for yourself is to meditate on a regular basis. Why? Because meditation increases your awareness.
When you are more aware of how you are creating your reality you begin to exercise choice over it.
Awareness is likened to shining a bright light on a dark room. Once you can see what you were not able to see before you can now CHOOSE to drop whatever doesn't serve you.
Awareness in and of itself is transformative, and once you are aware of something that no longer serves you your desire to continue with it drops completely.
