Just going through some threads, and although people seem to have a distaste for expansions for whatever reasons, it seems that it allows 'all' the work to be thrown out the door.
So the question I want to ultimately raise, is: Do you believe in Archetypes - and the power they hold?
How are 2 dimensional archetypes, supposed to be used in a 3 dimensional world? Doesn't make sense. (HH Archetypes are 2D)
So I have come to this conclusion, Since archetypes are in 2 Dimensions, they can only reflect the aspects of hyperspace - that are duality in nature - if hyperspace actually exists as a construct that is.
So I grabbed the HH, and started looking at the archetypes and seeing if there's a pattern behind them, and yes, I did get something out of it.
Its about mathematics, trigonometry and equations, ultimately its about geometry.
So lets look at a triangle.
Triangle - 2 dimensions, has 180 degrees inside it. So in essence, where does the triangle come from? There are 180 degrees inside half a circle. So ultimately, you could say that a triangle, is half a circle. (this gets more complex later on, i will explain sometime)
I will add my own archetypes later on using photoshop.
So lets analyse the Star of David.
Upside down triangle, upright triangle.
can be said to be 2 triangles, therefore the 'total' amount of degrees inside the star of david can be said to be 360 degrees.
So this means that the star of david could represent a circle in a complex form. (Don't forget the square which is also 360 degrees, thats for later on).
Now, because the triangles are overlapped, you get 7 plutonic shapes, 6 triangles and a hexagon.
This is still 2 dimensional don't forget.
6 triangles at 180 degrees = 1080
1 hexagon = 720
So all the degrees inside the star of david is 1800
So now we have 1800 degrees in 7 shapes. This means that if we were to try break it up into equal parts, there would be an uneven amount of degrees.
So duality or 2 dimensions, needs to be extended into the 3 dimensions.
That makes a prism integrated with another prism.
The amount of degrees here equates to 5760. (total of 8 prisms)
Now this has extended the star of david into a complex shape using the primary triangle and using two triangles to represent duality, because 360 degrees is what fits into a circle, and of course two triangles.
Now we have 5760 degrees. Now the remaining angles and degrees leave the hex based shape inside the prism. The remaining angles are 2160.
Now if we add them all together, that equates to 7920.
If we now divide all that by 360 (circle - degrees one full rotation), we get 22.
So technically, we can make 22 circles inside a 3D Star of David.
So with 22, we can now see that we have a lot of circles and triangles to play with.
We can cut up the shapes into different lengths, into different angles, and re-arrange them to make complex archetypes - ONLY in the 'perfection' of the trinity, or the triad, or the first shape that comes out from 'nothingness' in physical reality.
So now I'm going to break down the trinity, back to '1' (or a shape, angle) that would represent 1.
I would get the 7290, and divide it by 3. That equals 2430 degrees.
So now we have a 1 represented by a shape that can equal 2430 degrees.
If i divide that shape into 360 degrees (which is of course a circle), I get 6.75. *ALARM ALARM - ERROR*
So this was a conundrum. We cannot extrapulate any further with this - extending it that is, only way to do it is to multiply it by 4.
As we went from 1 triangle, 2 triangles, 3 dimensions, making 2 prisms. Using angles we then went to break it down back to 1 represented by 360 degrees. We then worked out that the 1 can be broken down again, but now we're stuck and can't go further for perfecting a 3 dimensional shape.
This then needs to be multiplied by 4 (the next in the series of numbers) to make it perfect and 'whole' again.
4 x 6.75 = 27.
Now we can work on division of the 3D Star of David again using 4. So back to 2430, divided by 27 = 90 degrees.
WOOT. 90 degrees? We just created a RIGHT ANGLE inside 2 x 2d shapes which went into 3 dimensions when it was time to step up to the number 4.
So we now have the ability to create 27 right angles inside the 3D Star of David.
So now we have the magic number of 27. We need to perfect number 27 (3 is the first shape that can be made remember) so we need to divide 27 by 3. We now get 9.
So with 2430 degrees - the shape that is unknown, we divide 2430 by 9, and we get 270 degrees. This is lower than the 360 degrees, but it is exactly 3/4 of a circle that means that the opposite as we worked out before is 90.
So we now we have a 90 degree angle, and 270 degrees.
Whats the mysterious shape? Well, you have 90 degrees, a circle is 360. We worked out using the maths before that 270 is 3/4's of a circle. So 270 divided by 3 being 90, and of course 4/4 is 1 or 90 x 4 - 360, actually makes the shape a 'SQUARE'.
So we now have a square that can be made from a triangle because a square cannot be made without duality.
I sort of went off on a tangent there, but with the overlapping sides, faces, angles, we can make complex archetypes that have meaning.
The original shape of a 3D Star of David, you can make shapes with angles at the vertices, with angles, arcs, divisions, multiplications, etc.. etc..
So from there, we can start to put together meaning behind archetypes.
I will do up some graphics to give examples later on.
