Two police officers given run-around by giant white rabbit

Well Mercy Now, the one I saw was moving fast... from right-side of the road to the left and just before Ingram's Pond in Millsboro, DE.  The radio station I listen to now has been having lots of callers call in with stories of remembering cougar sightings from year's past.

Right here is a pic of the paw print.

It was headed toward a farm on the left side of the road.  It was fast. And stretched across the whole road, it seems.  It was twilight (which I'm finding out is prime time for them to be sighted).  A lot of people on the radio think it's someone's pet or coming from Pennsylvania.

Sily, There are folks here who have seen the  cougar jump the width of a 2 lane country road and more. Another lady not far from me saw it running from neighbor's dogs through her property. Another man just over the river through the wood ;-)confronted the cougar twice. Once when he went out at night to load his outdoor furnace and another night when he heard a ruckus in his corral. There was a cougar chasing his horses.We have found track and scat . A few weeks ago when the river was frozen and there was snow on top I believe I saw it's track going across. I was @ 30 ft .up on the bridge but it was big and round track and the gait wasn't that of a  a dog. I turned tail and headed for home lol! the tracker seems to think a cougar has been bedding in some barns in the area. I have 4 barns one in particular would be ideal for a big cat to bed in.  Seeing this cat has rocked my world a bit.

How far do you live from where you saw the cougar?

 I can identify with the pick of the print as I used my hand to measure the print I saw.

I live approx. 1 hour away, from where I saw it. 

Yeah, about it rocking your world.  It was weird and scary for me to see, just because it was so unusual..... but because it was so fast and graceful... in a way, it was also  beautiful.  My perch for viewing was quite safe tho.
