Very weird dream....any interpretations? (sp?)

well, its been a while since i posted here, but i felt i had to post this dream because i may get the best responses here, more so then my "mommy" message board.

this is actually not a dream that I had, but one of my friends. the detail and the things that were in it i felt could possibly mean something. anyway, i'm going to copy and paste what she wrote (she asked me to share any responses with her if that's ok).

So....just over a month ago I had an odd and spooky dream...I wrote to a dream interpretation board simply because I'm not normally a dreamer and this one really got to me.  This is what I wrote:
 
**Hi there...I'm new and had a dream last night that I believe needs some interpretation if anyone can help. I'm not normally a dreamer and when I do have them I dont' remember...however, for the past month I've been having nightmares. Most of which I don't remember or they are vague..this one is the only one that was so vivid that I woke up shaking. If anyone can help...I would appreciate it. Thank you!  
I dreamt there was boat..more like a canoe and it capsized. My son (who is presently two) was there but he wasn't a toddler..he was around 10 years old. I was there too..but somehow not involved in the dream. In the canoe were babies and they were all falling down into the water and Dre and the others were diving down to save them. As this was all going on....I suddenly started floating (?) above the water and was watching the action.  
 
To my right a creature appeared..it almost looked like a little girl with long black hair..but when it turned toward me you could see it was missing an eyeball and looked more like the thing from the movie "The ring"...but creepier.  
 
It looked right at me and said " In eight years the rain will fall...7 + 4 and there will be no more"..  
 
I knew (without explaination) that it meant in eight years two things will happen...one involving something with the number 7 (like seven of the same thing) and 4 (four of the same thing)...the no more part confused me though...  
 
Does anyone have an interpretation for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! **

also,  i thought it would be interesting to add the dream I had last night, that felt so real. i dreamt that we (my sisters and i) were in my dad's house, and all of a sudden there was an asteroid shower. asteroids were falling everywhere (flaming asteroids). through the roof, outside....

we were dodging them left and right. when they finally stopped, i looked at one of the asteroid, and it turned into an alien being. except it was in a human form. then all the asteroids were turning into aliens. but they did not seem hostile, and i was not afraid of them.

very very weird dream.

Asil, your friend on the other message board -- has she heard the song The Rain Will Fall by Hora Suprema on the radio recently?  It speaks of "programed beats", "brave new world" and "following the forces of a programmed life".  Maybe she heard the song on the radio and came out in her dream.

Second thought about this dream I have -- if her son is two years old now, in eight years he will be ten.  Seven and four equals eleven. so maybe this is a prophetic dream of something happening to her son at age ten -- "In eight years the rain will fall" -- and then by age eleven some cycle will have stopped -- "7 + 4 and there will be no more".  Right now at age two, saving babies would make sense because he's a baby himself -- well sort of.. lol... --but by age ten or eleven there will be a change.  He grows up?

Third thought about this dream I have -- the movie The Ring is bad, bad, bad.  Scary stuff which should not be viewed.  It will mess up your mind....  :shock:  -- that's just a note to myself so I don't forget.  :D

Fourth thought I have about this dream -- I can only interpret someone else's dream with the knowledge and thoughts I have going around in my head.  I'm limited in that way since I have no idea of what your friend's mind has going through it.

I've never heard the song though..I only listen to talk radio..(nerd.lol) so I don't think that's it..The second interpretation fits more I think...but the fact that they also thought about the movie 'The ring' scared the pee out of me.
 
The funny thing is...when I woke up ..the first thought I had was of the movie "The Terminator"....but I have no idea why...I havent' seen the movie in years and don't remember most of the main plot...it had to be explained to me actually..lol.

ps. that name is what my mom (dreamtime is my lovely mother) used to call me when i was little. asil (my name spelled backwards) and mcfrazzle (cuz my mom's a weirdo, LOL, j/k)

Ahhhhh.. I see it now!  [color="green"]Asil[/color] = [color="navy"]Lisa[/color].  Cool!

The Terminator movie.  Oh my.  I have a thought......... but could you please ask your friend that when the one-eyed girl said "In eight years the rain will fall"..... did your friend feel it was meant as"rain" or could it be "reign" as in "In eight years the reign will fall".  I swear I'm not making a joke - - -> as in some people really do think and have been planning for The Terminator, a la Ah-nold S., current Governator of CA, to become President of the USA by 2012.  Eight years - two terms as Pres.  and then the reign is over. 

Per his wikipedia page...  "In May 2004 and 2007, he was named as one of the Time 100 people who help shape the world".  "7 + 4 and there will be no more"... I couldn't help but notice the four and the seven at the end of 2004 and 2007 that he was named in Time magazine.

I hope someone else replies cause we need more thoughts on this other than my Ah-nold tangent and her little boy growing up.

Sily, this is the response she gave me :-)

Wow!!  You know..I never actually thought about the term rain..I guess I just assumed.  I think (?) that I was more leaning toward the 'rain'..simply because for some reason I was thinking more of natural disaster...or something along that line.  I'm almost positive that the 7+4 though meant two separate events.  Now, of course, this is only my interpretation after just waking up...but for some reason I thought 7 of one thing and 4 of another..and that they would both be very specific and recognizable....like seven floods (or something along that line).
 
Thing is..I'm not American and have no knowledge of American politicians..Although..I have heard of Arnold lol.  Now not that a dream has to be anywhere place specific..but if this is along the lines she is thinking..I suppose the terminator theory would fit...as I could not figure out for the life of me why that would be my first thought when waking up. I would find it interesting for me to be thinking of an American politician .. However, again..I suppose premonition dreams (if it is that) don't have to do with anything based upon my own life..or Andreas's.
 
Please tell her thank you  (and to you, of course)...it would be interesting to hear other theories...now I don't know Arnolds political stand ..but would he have a stong stand based on anything detrimental? ..such as war.?....global warming? ..etc, etc..just simply because I also felt it was a warning dream...or future event...it was something I needed to see and to know about.  Not that I could prevent it..I didn't get that feeling..but definitally something I had to be knowledgable about..if that makes sense.

I'm going to forget about my Schwarzenegger interpretation for now.  It seems not to fit, really.  I think we should go with what your friend is feeling about this dream -- "I was thinking more of natural disaster".... "like seven floods" ... maybe this is a prophetic dream for the future and only time will tell.... 8 years from now isn't that long. 

Just one more quick possibility I want to throw out here -- when the dark haired girl said "rain", that can also be "reign" or "rein", I suppose ... you know, like having someone on a tight rein or controlling someone with a rein.  With horses you can make them turn, stop... control them better  "In eight years the rein will fall"... in eight years maybe loss of control over someone or something?"

It was the damndest thing that I would wake up, just before it crashed on top of me.  Someone who I do trust about dream interpretation, told me that the water and the wave was my emotions... getting ready to overwhelm me.  I've heard that the sea or ocean or great bodies of water can mean one's subconscious coming to the surface or one's overwhelming emotional structure.

Maybe by the time I post this message to you.. someone will have posted to add their thoughts on the dream.  I am sooooo wishing for your friend that her nightmares stop.  Tell your friend to "REIN-IN" those night-MARES... may she have just the dreams she wants to view.
