War Of The Worlds
#1
Well, Hyperspace and I just finished watching War of the Worlds.  I really liked it a lot.  I know people all say that there are many triggers in it, but it didn't seem to affect me at all - except keep me on the edge of my seat. :big grin:

Hyperspace said he didn't like the ending...but at least it was a "happy" ending.  Hmmm....maybe that's why he didn't like it.G-LOL

He did say that he thinks that's how people would really react - trying to kill other people just to get the only running car.  That's a shame.  I would hope that we would pull together to help each other out instead turning on our own kind.  S-Cry

Wednesday night i had many dreams.  One of them had a Brilliant Green light in a tunnul type image.    It was shocking but i cant remember anymore of that dream.  So thursday night i too also watched War of the Worlds.    In one part of the War of worlds movie i noticed the little girl sitting on the couch across from her father and she is  wearing a Yellow hard hat with a symbol on it then she is not wearing the hard hat but on the wall is a five pointed star clock.

I felt like the dream the night before and me seeing the movie the next night were connected.

I mispelled hat for had everytime i wrote hat in this post...........  hard had  instead of hard hat......

the ending did not do it for me also................

However,   this movie was like the storm at New Orleans.....We always hear of the negative side of disasters, but there were many un-named heroes during the storm and in times of danger.

My last movie was War of the Worlds.  But I didn't feel I was triggered.  What kind of programming is triggered in War of the Worlds?

ps.  When I watch movies, including WoW, I find myself much more grounded after finishing the movie, like I could focus better.  Usually I feel giddy in my life.  Any thoughts as to why this is?

We feel better after getting a dose of programming from these movies.   Thats why i wonder around sometimes looking for a particular movie to watch.    I feel we may be a little addicted at times to movies and their programming.

 Hope im wrong about this!

Maybe they made us depended on programming movies for focusing (like coffee).  Then they wouldn't have to worry too much about us deprogramming!  Some motivation to stop watching movies.

Hi William,

That's interesting in what you noticed in the movie.  I didn't notice that.  Now it makes me want to watch the movie all over again, just to see those parts. :unibrow:  Ah heck, who am I kidding...I'll watch it over again, just because I want to see it again.  It may be like my other favorite movie The Day After Tomorrow.  I watch that movie over and over again.

That's interesting SI on how you feel after watching movies.  I don't think I feel that way.  Most movies just make me think on what I would do in those situations.

William, I also find myself digging for certain movies to watch.  But what I watch usually depends on the mood I'm in.  If I feel depressed, I go for a comedy, if I'm feeling helpless, I go for the disaster movies (they always find a way to cope & survive), etc.

I don't think I will stop watching movies.  They're my "fix" for a lot of my mood swings.  But, I could say the same thing with my books.  I usually always have more than one book going at a time.  Believe it or not...just the "smell" of books put me in a better frame of mind.  I'm strange that way, but books have been my friends since before I could even read.  If that's programming, then it's one that I don't think I will ever try to break. Fer Shizzle Dreamtime,  I wont give up my movies or books or Music...........  or pizza!

I keep wanting some deep Space movie to watch but cant find.

So i might re-read a star wars book.  The Han Solo Adventures,  3-books in one.
Han solo at stars end,   han solos revenge  ,    han solo and the lost legacy.

If we become aware of our abundance of feelings inside we will have no need for movies, music, or any of that modern programming, and we'd be able to meditate for long periods without a need for distractions.   I guess I'd rather return to medieval times lol.  nevermind.

People's current mind-patterns ask for lackful thoughts and experiences.  So they need to look outwards for creative experiences rather than inward for a feeling of peace and eternal thoughtfullness that is potentially more addicting.

But i admit it.  it's fun watching movies and listening to music--other people's creativity--imagining I could produce such art.
