What are 'ghosts'

Can science explain these energies?

I believe if you had a scientist who is open minded (there are more coming out and searching for answers to the non-physical world) they could explain in a scientific form of the energy when a ghost is present, because when a ghost visits or is present, the room changes energetically, energy is the only way to communicate with the spirit world.
We need scientists and they need us, and as we grow universally the two will come together like never before, I have believed this for a long time now.
We do not evolve the universal force, IT evolves us, we have no power of it, but it has great power over us through the wonderful energy of balance and consistency. The energy of the planets do not fight one another for power or position, they all work together united to individually create a whole balance, this force can be rejected by the individual physically and logically, yet the collective consciousness of the universal power has already began to penetrate all of us.
Trust the scientist to evolve as we do and it will happen.

The scientific community seems to be lagging behind on many metaphysical subjects, including research into ghost phenomenons and entities. So many people, myself included, have seen ghosts. The quantity of people who have had these experiences seems to point at the direction of there being "something" more than science.

Everyone has to come to these conclusions on their own, but for anyone who has seen a ghost, there is never any more doubt about their existence. At least that's the way it was for me. :)

Yeah, I believe that they are real, even though I've not ever seen one. However, I don't believe they're spirits or souls or anything primitive like that.

No doubt they're energy and made up of the same things that we are (atoms - aren't we all?).....one day, when people start to take scientific research seriously, we will all know what they are.

Do you think that they could be 'animals' of some sort - a living energy that lurks around certain places to 'feed' on fear or other emotions that it invokes?

Josh,
I have seen many many ghosts, and they are definitely the energetic sprit of a soul, many years ago I was very openly receptive to the spirit world, which by choice I put a protection block on because they would not leave me alone. So I took control of my ability to receive information from this unseen world and now only allow certain energy in.
Ghosts are energy like you say; however they are non-physical energy that structures a physical form/outline for the purpose that you see it with your eyes, because the majority of people have their real vision blocked.
I have done countless clearings of homes where ghosts are present, and many are very advanced so they can move furniture and scare the home owners etc. they are real, and most of them are basically stuck between the two worlds, and very often the ghosts of loved ones will show themselves in their human form, (yet in a transparent way) as you knew them, to reassure that they can enter and exit these worlds, however they can not guide or tell you answers, only comfort your loss, their non-physical structure creates them to be extremely bound to universal law, the ego body is not present so they can only do so much.

I have seen them only as transparent also.  They were not solid beings.

Here's my experience with them:  ghosts don't seem to follow me around, I have to go to where they live or hang out.  My first sighting -- I do not even remember at this point -- it was Mrs. Knight of the Corrolla Hunting Club.  I only have my families description of what I told them about the sighting as this was in the early 1960's.

In the 1980's I lived in a very old farm house in Berlin Maryland.  I saw an old man, a hanging cat, shoes walking around with no legs in them.  The old man was doing what I consider to be comical stuff -- he was sleeping several feet off the ground (laying down) and he had on a man's long night gown and sleeping cap.  He wasn't looking at me or chasing me -- he was doing his own thing.  It was like we were just sharing the same home, which we were.  I think he was from another era though, given the nightgown he was wearing and night cap.

In the home I live in now, some very extraordinary things have happened but no sightings.  Forks seem to flying into the sink, pans bang, lights blink, two summers in a row this great devoted frog/toad sat on our porch night after night after night.  Last night my husband, who recently had a death on his side of the family, said between waking and sleeping  state yesterday he heard a man's voice say to him "I need to speak with you".  Husband is also the one who had his sister-in-law sit down on the edge of his bed the night she died.

Interesting sily,
I enjoy ghost stories as long as they have not put fear in people, they can do that, it sounds like your hubby is a bit of a magnet for them, how does he feel about it? Is he into the paranormal like you are?
When I was a teen, I used to have a friend and her house was haunted, I wish I had the skills back then to fully understand and clear that house, but I am sure it was more of a lower astral energy in there because people occasionally got hurt and it could not be explained, and just like you say with flying forks etc, stuff would just move in front of your eyes.
Frogs and toads can be a sign of ‘visitors’ we had a very bizarre frog visit us a few years back, but when they start acting all crazy it is usually an indication of the change of energy in the home from the visitor, frogs are extremely sensitive to earth frequency and are not fully acknowledged for their imperative importance.

He's not into it nearly as much as I am.  He doesn't really like to discuss it much either.  I like to ask questions and  he got a bit cranky this morning when I was asking him about his past *visitation* and "Do you believe in ghosts?"  -- he kinda went like this - > icon_nixweiss  - held both arms out and shrugged and said "I don't know.  50/50 maybe?"

Last night when he spoke of the voice he heard I had like a million questions: was it a male voice or a female voice?  Were you scared when you heard the voice?  Did they say anything else?  Have you heard voices like this before?   ..... and getting information from him can be hard sometimes.  You know how some women, and I don't mean ALL women, but some women like to talk about *feelings* and *thoughts* and *ideas* and god forbid *emotions* and like to "dig" a bit .... well.... most of the time he just doesn't like to talk about all the stuff I'm trying to pry out of him.  icon_lupe

This is very important - never have the ghosts I've seen hurt me or scared me.  They never chased me or were carrying rattling chains or none of the things seen on the TV.

I read your frog story and I just wanted to add that interestingly it was husband who saw the frog first and we kind of claimed it to be "his".  We both thought it was there for him, not me, if that is possible to know.  It was trying to climb the stairs to get to the top when he was coming home one night.  It got knocked off the porch by the dogs -- I watched it roll in the dirt and try to climb the stairs again.  We'd turn off the light, it would stay on the porch all night and be gone every morning.  For two summers it became a joke between me and husband and we'd say "go check the porch to see if The Frog is there" and sure enough it would be there same place ... to the left of the door.  I took pictures of it, got right up into it's face, and it never moved.  I poked at it's body with my finger, it never moved.  I thought it's be afraid of me but, nope.

Getting back on topic to the original question Can science explain these energies?
I think if a scientist fooled around with the brain long enough and induced maybe a change in brain waves, or conscious levels or even squirted DMT into the pineal, I think people would be able to see different energies and dimensions.  My dogs see things I can't and do lots of barking into the upper corners of rooms.

That's really interesting about frogs. I never knew that. We always seem to have frogs coming up to our door. It drives Anubis batty. :D He'll go and sniff them and then freak out if they jump. Some hunter, huh? He is never afraid of squirrels or bunnies or groundhogs...wonder why frogs? Maybe he knows what they are here for.   [Image: 3215.gif]

I've had a dog or two foam at the mouth when going after a frog.  They didn't die, but it turns out many frogs/toads can kill dogs with a poison that's on them.  Also, I hear some people lick frogs and get a hallucinative trip somehow.

Anubis is smart.  He knows there's poison on them froggies.
