At least in the American curriculum, schools teach skills on becoming a better citizen, critical thinker (could be intrapersonal), and social skills (interpersonal). Our college standardized tests focus on linguistic and math logic.

Reader's intelligent results are everything that our education model is trying to obtain.

(Not with an ill-temper or sarcasm,) I imagine Reader either used a great education to his or her advantage, or maybe Reader was born as the perfect intelligent human.

I would really like to know Reader's background.

Hi again GB!  My background is fairly straightforward - I'm of a much older vintage so schooling was basic.  Always in top 10 of primary school classes, always in top half of high school A classes.  Left school at 15 with good pass in required certificate of the day, 1 yr office studies, then off to work in various secretarial capacities. I was a very inquisitive child, so I enjoyed all forms of learning on many subjects.  Everybody is a mix of inherited qualities and environmental influences and mine were well balanced (in my opinion anyway).  Even now I still want to understand more about this amazing Universe we live in, from the most everyday things to the deeper esoteric and metaphysical aspects.  Educational systems are supposed to help people develop to their fullest and best potential, but none are perfect, and as we are all individuals there are always many varients.  People are interesting and have many valid ideas and experiences to relate and with modern technology anyone can learn just about anything to strengthen the areas of study they need.

Hope this gives you some little insight into how I came to be me - and also some encouragement to you to keep learning and understanding - I enjoy reading all your posts.
